Needs to be brought into the 21st century as it is still in the seventies, staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful, spotlessly clean, nice breakfast but dinner menu needs revamped. Bedrooms are located above the bar, so it can get quite noisy.

Our first time up here and we loved it so much! The hotel is wonderful and the staff so welcoming. We booked room 20 which is their best room and were delighted as it was superb. The views on a good day are lovely as it has many windows, the bed was excellent and breakfasts delicious. Great car parking space... More

We loved this hotel! After car problems we arrived into Inverness late. It seemed every hotel was full due to a concert the next night. Michael was very helpful and found a roll away at almost midnight for our room. As well Tiffany at the bar ordered a pizza for us because we arrived after the bar closed and my... More

We arrived at approx 2pm and were informed that all the hotel staff had now finished and the bar staff would be sorting the hotel issues. We were given our keys and sent on our way. On entering the room it was clear the room had not been cleaned for a considerable amount of time. There was dust on every... More

We booked this hotel as a last resort as there was a marathon at Inverness the same weekend and everywhere booked! Although I had misinterpreted ( not read thoroughly) the information provided the triple room was a single and bunk beds rather than the double and single I had assumed the room was very clean and comfortable. It's a long... More

Travelling Scotland isn't cheap, you might have to easily shell out 100 quids for a good hotel. So it was great to get a room for three for just 85 for a hotel just two miles from Inverness town centre, as far as the location goes its pretty good in chic little village of Smithton which is also very close... We booked two rooms for one night. One single occupancy and one family room. The family room in particular was a great room. Unfortunately the sound proofing in the rooms is non-existent. Sounded like adjoining room shower was in our room. My father was asked by housekeeping to turn his TV down but as he was the first room at... More

The hotel looks a bit basic with 70's interior but we were pleasantly surprised with the attentive staff and very pleasant loft room. Ok menu with great well cooked portions served by happy enthusiastic staff.. Excellent value for money and fair speed free internet. I would use this hotel again in we are ever in the area..
