It feels like you are far from anywhere, but actually you are 10 minutes from Inverness and Loch Ness. Dinichean House is a special place, it offers excellent accommodation, as you would expect from the 5* rating as well as an idyllic Highland experience, surrounded in beautiful woodland complete with deer. We would certainly recommend spending some time at Carols... More

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is just the thing for you. It is located in a secluded forest plot which the owner have built a house on a few years ago. Around it, there is absolutely nothing for at least a mile. Also no reliable mobile signal, so you can really disconnect. The house has just... More

This place is a true gem ...nothing short of a 5 Star Hotel service with the amazing warmth of Carol & Trevor...the location is just perfectly away from the Inverness town centre...a straight road with a 13 min drive gets you here ...with Gas Stations & Supermarkets even closer to the house...the house is in the middle of the forest... Trevor and carol were great hosts with helpful advice on where to go and things to see, rooms were lovely with great decor, lovely comfortable beds and lush soft white towels - perfect. Breakfast was delicious. I only wish we had longer than the three days we stayed.

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of May. Everythjng is perfect. Tranquil location. We even helped to feed the resident herd of red deer after a wonderful breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We spent 2 nights at Dinichean House during our 2 week tour of Scotland. The approach to the house is amazing when you drive down the lane from the road and first see the house appear in the clearing in the forest. Wow!! we were stunned. What a beautiful place Carol and Trevor have created. We enjoyed it so much... More

We had a fantastic time at Dinichean House at the beginning of May 2016. The location was ideal for us: it’s only a 20 minute drive from the airport and even though you are in the “wilderness”, the centre of Inverness is only 10 minutes drive away. For us, it was the perfect base for exploring both sides of Loch... More

Not sure where to start. The accommodations are superior, or as they say in the UK, they were quite ‘lovely’. I can see why this rates as Excellent. The owners/hosts (Carol and Trevor) were awesome to deal with. They offered great suggestions for dining in the city and local places of interest. Carol suggested we book dinner spots early as...
