This was the third time I've stayed here and it's always great. Lovely rooms, comfortable beds and very convenient for the town centre but quiet at night. The cost is excellent value for money but it's the friendly welcome which makes all the difference. Restaurant recommendations and advice are forthcoming, followed by phone calls to book tables and taxis. The...

I stayed in the house for 2 nights with my mother in a twin bedroom as a part of a tour. Ally and his wife were very welcoming, the room was immaculate - clean, cosy and warm. Breakfast was nice with Danish pastries, ham, eggs, toast and all the basics.Very nice experience and amazing value for the money!

It is a fantastic guest house. Extremely friendly owner with a lovely environment. Clean and tidy rooms with a huge toilet. Extremely convenient location, only a few mins walk from town centre. Will definitely stay there again if I visit Inverness in the future. Thanks Ally and Ruth!

Lovely B&B with hosts to match, Ally and Ruth provided everything we needed and requests above and beyond expectations. We loved the menu and suggestions of restaurants. The bed was comfy and cosy and my best nights sleep after 4 weeks of hotels. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. The only regret is not being able to stay longer. If ever...

Sorry to have to write negatives about Atherstone Guest House, but our street-side Room #3 gave me an almost sleepless Saturday night. True, I am a light sleeper, but even my sound-machine couldn't mask the continual street sounds from noisy cars and loudly-vocal pedestrians, nor improve the very poor quality of the twin mattress. It was unusually warm out, so...

Stayed for two nights end of August. Ruth and Ally were very welcoming and have the most comfortable beds ever. Lovely continental breakfast with everything you need to satisfy a good appetite. Very quiet and clean and little Murray, a handsome wee lad. I left my Jacket in the bedroom and Ally raced after our bus , quite a few...

We stayed here two nights while touring the Inverness area with the highly recommended Heart of Scotland company. Ally and Ruth were very inviting, we felt at home right away. Comfy room, good food, A+ service. Ally even went the extra mile (quite literally), by following our tour bus for about 20 minutes after we left to return a jacket...

I couldn't recommend the Atherstone more highly. We received a very warm and home-based welcome and throughout our stay everything about the Atherstone was of a very high standard. The family can feel very proud of what they have created in this excellent guesthouse.I would definitely stay here if visiting Inverness again. We left with strong and positive impressions of...

We had great night and delicious breakfast. Ally and Ruth were very helpful in getting us a dinner reservation. The B&B was comfortable and clean and felt like a home away from home. Would highly recommend a stay with them.

I was traveling with my 2 children and a friend, we walked up the path to Atherstone and immediately felt like walking into a dream! The greeting we received was friendly and very welcome after long day of traveling. The room was quaint, comfortable, clean, and charming. We were treated with respect and kindness and felt like welcome visitors to...
