We stayed 1 night in the ensuite room. It was compact and very clean. It had everything we needed for a short stay. The location was excellent- on a quiet street just 2 blocks from the river, just opposite the footbridge leading to the train station. Steve was a wonderful host- he spent a lot of time answering questions and... More

Pleasantly surprised! The welcome was superb and the quaint little house was deceptively spacious! Nothing seemed too much for the Canadian owner-manager who was unobtrusively available to make the stay pleasant. He even "dressed" for breakfast! With free street parking outside and literally a stones-throw from the hustle & bustle of Inverness you simply won't go wrong with this place

I stayed here for 4 nights in the single room while visiting for the Scottish Open golf. From the original booking until the time I left Steve was an excellent host who would go out of his way to help you where possible. My room was very cosy and clean and had all the facilities I needed and the bonus... More

Booked this little B&B several months before arriving to Inverness, found it via on line search for hotels in Inverness. I had emailed the owner, Steve, to ask about distance from the train station and whether or not I could walk from the station. The reply was quick and gracious. Even though it was not highly encouraged to walk with... More

We spent two nights in this B&B and loved it. Steve, the host was wonderful and very helpful. It is close to the city center, accessible to the foot bridge. Breakfast was really good (also great value for money- just 3£ per head) You are given the option to choose breakfast options from a menu the night before and the... More

This was a very short trip for work to Inverness. A very warm welcome from Steve. He immediately showed me to my room and the facilities. Which were all first class. Breakfast was a treat in itself. None of your Asda value stuff here. All good wholesome food. All in all. I would have no hesitation in staying again. Thank... More

We arrived on Christmas eve to the feel of a family home. A fire crackled in the front room where the owner had his family over to celebrate Christmas a day earlier. We were immediately made to feel welcome and invited - a theme which continued over the days we stayed there. Orders for breakfast are placed the night before,... More

Steve has simply thought of everything possible one would require. From a community fridge to in-room French-press Coffee maker with real coffee. Flat-screen TV with all the best channels. Need a wine-cork remover? Of course, it's there, along with anything else one would need. The large Breakfast was professionally prepared,well-organized, undoubtedly the best full-Scottish ever. I would suspect this man... More

Every time I travel, I have 5 key indicators of a good stay: 1 - Cleanliness - The room was really clean. Towels, linens, bed, floor, bathroom and shower impeccable clean (my room was the en-suite). 2 - Location - Really near to the city centre with a foot bridge directly in front of the road. You can reach the... More
