We had camped for two nights in Sandwoodbay and were looking for a comfortable hotel with a shower near the centre of inverness. This came up on the telephone we rang made a booking at a very good price and got early access to the room (for a shower) The young lady on reception was very helpful and our room... More

We were up here for 2 nights for a wedding. We booked one of the Garden King Rooms and were not disappointed. It was nice to be able to sit outside on the patio area and enjoy the sunshine. The fridge was very handy but the prices for the things in it were a bit expensive. A good tip is... More

Lovely bed and bedtime lighting. TV worked well. Internet as well. Very quiet stay. Room was cold. Shower gets mixed review. Tip: wear the shower cap if you are not washing your hair. It does require the room card to run the elevator. Room service was very good--efficient and perfectly done. Hotel loaned me an adaptor and that was appreciated.... More

The hotel is OK and the staff well trained but the place is old and outdated. Rooms are good size , but not very modern. It is also a very big hotel and therefore not very personal although the staf tries very hard. If you can not get anything else, it's OK

We weren't sure what to expect, as we hadn't heard great reviews about Inverness in general, but needed a place to stay in between Skye and flying out of Inverness airport first thing in the morning. We were very very pleasantly surprised by Kingsmills hotel! We booked two luxury family break room packages, which included breakfast and dinner. Both rooms... More

We stayed in a family room with our two grandchildren in the main building - it was clean, spacious and well appointed and had two bathroom/toilets - always useful with kids! More to the point all staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. The Leisure Centre was a real bonus for the kids - they loved it and the staff there... More

Garden rooms are superb. New. Quiet. A little removed from the bustle of the main hotel. Yes, you must walk outside to get to them. They supply an umbrella in the room in case of rain. Well stocked minibar and basket; it is a little confusing as to what is included and what is extra. Glass wine glasses in the... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel. I booked it on the advice of a local, but didn't research it much. I was very happily surprised. I stayed in the "luxury family room", which consisted of one main room and one small room to the side which contained bunk beds. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The... More

Spacious, generous public areas, charming, generous service, delicious piping hot dinner, huge and lovely room and bathroom. Very comfortable indeed. I think this is what hotels should be like. I wish all hotels were run like this. We very much enjoyed our stay. Well done management and staff.

Stayed in the Kings club spa hotel and it was very good ! Staff were very friendly and I received a complimentary bottle of wine. Room was large with sitting area and high standard bathroom. All round for good hotel for stay in Inverness. Main hotel is less modern than the Spa block.
