We were looking to stay in Scottish old houses so this was perfect! From the moment you enter the gates you can admire the beauty of the place. It has a lot of free parking spaces. The staff were very friendly and the room was big and very comfortable. It has a living room where you can drink something before dinner. At night there was a bagpiper!

Probably the best afternoon tea I've ever had. Slightly more expensive than other hotels in the area for afternoon tea but, it absolutely has the edge. Greeted by a lovely gentleman when we arrived, seated in a lovely lounge close to the large open fire. Sandwiches so fresh and tasty, the sausage and black pudding roll was delicious and the pastries were simply devine. The choux bun and meringue were out of this world. Definitely gold star standard.

This hotel catches your heart from the moment you enter the gates! Our welcome was warm and we were shown to the most amazing suite. Newly refurbished with fluffy towels, dressing gowns and loads of space. The lounge, dining room and breakfast rooms have beautiful cornices and charm ... can just see Bonnie Prince Charlie walking the corridors! Now to the Hogmanay. The Ghost from Culloden well he was so knowledgable and the presentation with kilts, claymores very engaging. Followed by a yummy taster dinner then back to the lounge for the dancing! Heard a good few Scottish bands in my travels but this was the best. The evening went well and gave to say a big thank you to all the staff ... this was a true house party. All the guests mixed and albeit we were just a small group it turned out to be one of the best Hogmanays we had had.

If your looking for a place rich with history and style the Culloden House is perfect. The elegance of the rooms and main spaces gives the feel of being brought back in time. The service is exceptional and very welcoming. The staff is happy to accommodate for any needs (my family started getting sick of each other and upon arrival to the house we asked for extra bedrooms without giving a previous notice. The staff was happy to accommodate and needed no time to change our living situations. All the rooms in the house were prepared and ready immediately). The rooms are also each uniquely different with their own style and layout. The care and precision put into the Culloden House is truly beautiful
