Wow! This is a five star hotel! My husband, son, and I came from the USA and stayed at the Bunchrew house for three days and two nights. We elected to eat their several course dinner both nights as well as their delicious full Scottish breakfast. The meal was over the top delectable! We had the lamb that literally was... More

Bunchrew House Hotel is an isolated traditional Scottish country house on the shore of the Beauly Firth. Views over the bay and down to the Kessock bridge are unspoiled We were fortunate enough to have a premium room. The bed was raised on a platform (with steps at either side for ease of access) which meant we could sit up... More

Unexpectedly we arrived 2 hours before check in and as our room had already been cleaned it was no problem and we were shown to our room straight away. Hotel is full of character and very ecclectic. We stayed in the Fraser room. The room was spacious, very clean, very warm, everything worked great. We had dinner one night in... More

I really didnt want to leave. The staff were excellent. It was so cosy and the whisky was amazing. We had a wonderful suite courtesy of the manager. All our needs were taken care of beyond our imagination. Our room was situation on the river with beautiful views and a delicious breakfast.

We had a room on the third floor and staff were happy to help us get our bags to the room. The bathroom was slightly dated but the room and facilities were lovely with a view on to the trees which at night we were able to try and watch out for the local wildlife. On returning the hotel after... More

We were long overdue an overnight break and a birthday celebration gave us the perfect excuse. We were really taken with the young gentleman who welcomed us and showed us to our comfy room. He knew his whiskies and his gins and I had a really good G & T (wish I had noted the name) and my other half... More

Wonderful hotel overlooking a loch at the outskirts of Inverness. Very friendly service, nice rooms and great food although the portions were very big and two courses at dinner cost over £30. I was already full after the excellent mixed seafood starter. I stayed there on MOnday 17th October.

I was hunting for somewhere to stay for 2 nights and found a brilliant deal for this gorgeous old hotel. I was so surprised when we were given this huge room with a 4 poster bed all decorated with period furniture. Added bonus was stunning water views. Quality tea and coffee in room including plunger coffee and short bread biscuits.... More

We decided to treat ourselves at the end of doing NC500 on a budget earlier this month! We had a fantastic stay. A lovely room super clean and immaculately presented, staff were so helpful, nothing too much trouble and a delicious dinner and breakfast in the dining room with views to die for. The location is superb. Would definitely recommend.
