We spent our first night here, quickly realising we wish we had more. The staff were very welcoming, and ensured the place is run meeting all COVID government guidelines. The property is situated along the coastal front offering a breathtaking view that shouldn't be missed. Another point to note is the tastey and plentiful breakfast offered, which nicely sets you up for a full day. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough if your looking near this area, it's a true gem!

We booked a last minute stay at Bunchrew House when our Summer holiday abroad was cancelled. We were a family group of 11 adults and children. We really didn’t know what to expect but the hotel was in easy travel distance from Inverness airport. The grounds were really pretty and well maintained and the view out over the water was spectacular. The hotel building is quirky. Heading into reception it was clear that the staff were working hard to make sure social distancing was adhered to and staff were all in masks. The reception area, bar and lounges were clean and welcoming. We had several rooms, some better than others. All were clean and well equipped but some were a little shabby in places (mainly in the bathrooms) The beds were super comfy and the linen and towels fresh and nice and fluffy. The staff were helpful and friendly and helped with special requests where they could. The food was exceptionally good. The evening menu, room service menu and breakfast included excellent quality ingredients and everything was really tasty. The outside space and some of the rooms offered the most amazing views. The hotel is in a good location for visiting local sites and attractions. We were really pleased we decided to give the hotel a go and would go back again in future.

Booked a night away to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Whilst the hotel's common areas were of a very high standard, unfortunately the same could not be said for our bedroom. The best way to describe it would be a little shabby. One of the lights in the bedroom and shower not working. Difficult to charge mobile phone due to lack of available sockets. Unable to open windows and bedroom very stuffy. The bed was not particularly comfortable. We ate in the restaurant which at £45 pp expectations were high. Only one scallop served for starter, and other starter of pigeon was tough. However, we were astounded when checking the food bill to see that we had paid £5 for a bottle of water!! We felt misled when asked if we would like water with the meal, expecting it to be complimentary as is the norm in most restaurants and usually tap water which we would have been happy with. Breakfast was outstanding as were the staff - best part of the stay. Would recommend getting a taxi into Inverness to eat out and explore.

staff were so friendly here and breakfast for us and our 4 legged friend was fresh and tasty. The room was delightful, spotless but still had lots of character. We did have to pay extra for our 4 legged fried who is much quieter and cleaner than a child, but we did negotiate a 50% discount as she is a hypoallergenic dog. Will return, can't say a bad word about this place. 5*****
