Drakies Cottage is a wonderful place run by a wonderful couple. Elaine and Kenny are extremely welcoming and there is a lovely ambiance to the place. The rooms are kept to a high standard and also have extra touches such as: fresh fruit, snacks, bottled water and hot water bottles which helps you have a comfortable stay. The B&B is... More

We booked the double room for 2 nights and were very pleased with reception we got on arrival from Elaine and Kenny and the room was excellent, spotless, plenty of room. Fresh fruit, cakes, biscuits and bottled water as well as the usual tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. In the... More

I needed a place to stay near the hospital so I could visit my Dad and Drakies Cottage was ideally situated and had great reviews. What I found was the best B&B I could imagine that was just as great as all the reviews said, if not better. It is also incredibly good value. Elaine and Ken are lovely, warm,... More

For any traveller wanting an excellent bed an breakfast say in Inverness, we heartily recommend Drakies Cottage. Elaine prepares the rooms to a very high standard, with little extra touches that makes the stay special. Whilst Ken makes well presented tasty breakfasts, all in all a great place to stay.

whilst exploring B & B's in Inverness we came across Drakies Cottage, what caught our eye was that it was near to the venue were we were attending our friends wedding. And that we noticed that Ken was a taxi driver as we needed to be picked up from the airport and to take us to the wedding venue, ken... More

I have just returned from Inverness, having been booked into Drakies Cottage for 3 nights! I have stayed in hotels and B & B's on a regular basis over the years, but this accommodation is by far the best! Elaine has obviously done her research and has so many nice little extras in the room, eg, fresh fruit daily, shortbread,... More

I would like to sing the praises for this fantastic b & b from 'the Highlands to the Lowlands!'. I stayed at Drakies Cottage recently, on two separate occasions, and would recommend it wholeheartedly . I do love a 'nice hotel' and have never been a big fan of b & b's.However, staying at Drakies Cottage has certainly changed my... More

My daughter and I stayed when my husband was in hospital and we were made to feel so welcome by both Elaine and Ken. The room was fantastic, more than you would expect - fresh fruit and biscuits and the scottish tablet was much appreciated by my daughter!! I called to book again on very short notice and Elaine was... More

A wonderful b&b! I stayed several nights while my husband was in Raigmore Hospital, was made to feel very 'at home'. The room was delightful with lots of nice touches....the home baking and fresh fruit were especially welcome! Elaine and Ken have succeeded in combining first class service and warm hospitality. We have returned twice and are planning a visit... More
