The B&B is located near the city centre (10-minute walk) in a quiet residential area. Unfortunately there is no free parking, so you have to park the car on the side of the street (free during the night but not from 8am to 6pm and with a 2-hour limit !!) The room (under the roof) was quiet and clean, with... More

I stayed at Fraser House for two nights 25th and 26th May 2016 (Sorry for delay in posting this) on a business trip. I had the single room on the first night which although small is a great little room. I am informed by the host it is often requested and I am not surprised, On the second night I... More

Fraser House is in a quiet neighborhood in Inverness, situated on one side of the river, with a great view of the historical buildings on the other side. We had a second story room with bunk beds and a queen bed. It was immaculate. Fraser House is just a few steps away from a footbridge connecting the two riverbanks. The... More

Stayed here 2 nights. Excellent quiet location close to main part of town and great welcome from Liz. Good tips for eating out. We had the room under the eaves - possibly not suitable for those taller than 5ft 6". Shower, bathroom and bedroom very clean and breakfast excellent. Overall the place had all those little touches that make a... More

This was ideal for an overnight stop being right on the river and an easy walk to the city centre. The room was large, with bunk beds in addition to the double, and quite comfortable although the TV was positioned in a very awkward spot for viewing. The shower cabinet was very small, and We are not large, and could... More

Lovely room with a view of seagulls and a rock island that submerged during high tide. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Hosts were very accommodating. Enjoyed our stay and would return. En suite bath, towel warmer, choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Our room had a double bed and bunk beds for children.

My friend and I stayed in Fraser House for Hogmanay, this was the second time I have stayed there. Contrary to what other reviews say, I found the hostess very helpful, friendly and approachable. She wasn't overbearing or 'too involved' but showed us to our room and told us everything we needed to know. Breakfast was very nice and was... More

This is my 3rd visit to Fraser House and as stated previously, this is a lovely place to stay. The single room is comfortable, the shower is good, the breakfast is excellent and the hosts are very helpful and friendly. Less than 10 minutes walk from the bus or train station and light years better than a certain hotel much nearer... More

Found along the Ness river across from the city centre. You can see the foot bridge from the front door. We were on the top floor, so lots of stairs. Good value for money. Breakfast very well done. Bed pretty normal for average to better lodging in Scotland.(meaning - almost comfortable). Bathroom tiny, but all we required. Great WiFi!!!
