Equally, a great place to end the Way, Craigside Lodge overlooks the marker for the start or end of the walk and is a few steps away. Excellent accommodation, comfortable and well run, with full breakfast provided. Heading south on the Way and starting from Inverness we were sent on our way with generous packed lunches. For many, Craigside Lodge... More

This was a beautiful B&B with a very comfortable room and great bathroom. Mandy was a wonderful host and breakfast was fabulous. The view from the dining room is amazing! I would highly recommend this B&B, we felt very lucky to have been able to get a room here during a busy holiday season!

Great place, the rooms are nice and a good size. The bathroom is pretty big and are really nice. The owners are really serviceminded and are so nice. The breakfast was great and served in a room with a view of the castle. The B&B are located close to the castle and with bars and restaurants close by.

Lovely spacious room and bathroom including a bath and shower. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and Mandy encourages people to try Scottish fare without being afraid to leave it if it is not to your taste.Such a good location with lovely views. We even got to meet the wonderful dogs . Would recommend this guesthouse if you want comfort and service

The room was very comfortable, newly decorated and the bath was enormous! Our host, Mandy was warm, friendly and most gracious. We enjoyed meeting the two sweet dogs (who aren't technically allowed above stairs, but I asked to meet them). We only stayed two nights but already wish we could go back soon. The breakfasts are cooked to order and... More

Stayed for one night whilst touring the North Coast 500 but would happily have stayed longer. I stayed here 6 years a go and the B&B has changed ownership since. However I am happy to report that it is still a great B&B in a great location; right in the centre, but easy to get to and in a quiet... More

We only stayed for one night but wished we could have been there longer. Mandy was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The guesthouse has fantastic views looking out over to the castle, city and distant mountains. It was only a short walk to the city centre and down to the River Ness. Breakfast was great with lots... Mandy and her husband, John, are incredible hosts. They are caring and personable, wanting to insure your best stay in Inverness. We felt welcomed and very comfortable as we were settled into our room, with delightful touches in each area. (Everything has been totally remodeled with the eye to what travelers need.) Loved the hospitality tray with tea and coffee--and treats--which... More

My son and I were fortunate to end our hike from Fort Augustus along the Great Glen Way in this fine property. We arrived a bit earlier than expected but Mandy was kind enough to provide us with tea and treats while we waited. Our room was fine, with two comfortable beds and a large, clean bathroom. Breakfast was great... More

Great location and centrally located to downtown and restaurants. Walked within 10 minutes to several great places to eat. Rooms were recently updated and felt fresh and new. Mandy was warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed our 2 night stay very much.
