First, a big thank you to Eleanor! You made our (regrettably only 1) night wonderful! The lodging is neat, tidy and quaint. The standard double room is cozy- decor is lovely, with lots of local artist work. The conversation with Eleanor was just delightful! Mia, her jack russell terrier, is a wonderful little accoutrement to the B&B. Breakfast was one... More

What a fantastic place! The B&B is well situated, just across the loch from the downtown area and a half mile from the train station. Our room overlooking the rooftops of Inverness was very clean and cozy. Eleanor is a welcoming and gracious host, offering suggestions and even accommodating us with an early breakfast before a scheduled tour. My husband... More

Inverness was our first stop during the North Coast 500 and what a welcome! Little Mia greets all guests with huge enthusiasm and Eleanor is just as welcoming. The guesthouse is in the perfect spot within Inverness with everything on your doorstep. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, including excellent WiFi and tea/coffee facilities. Eleanor is also... More

This was one excellent B&B in the heart of Inverness. Extremely clean, lively surroundings and excellent restaraunts nearby. The perfect place for enjoy a beautiful city from. There was an awesome breakfast each morning consisting of the full English breakfast or cereals, toasts with homemade jams, yogurt, cheeses and fruits. We stayed for 3 nights and our hostess Eleanor was outstanding. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Walking distance to everything but just out of the busy section. Right on the river so surrounded by great little cafes and restaurants.

My husband & I stayed here for a night while on a 3 night trip to Inverness. Eleanor made us feel extremely welcome from our arrival to our departure, and nothing was too much trouble. We had originally tried to book here for more nights, but there was no availability...which is a real shame. We were on the top floor... More

Eleanor (the proprietor) was the quintessential ambassador for Scotland. She was so friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was fantastic and breakfast was on point! Thank you for accommodating all four of us at the last minute.

We arrived at Inverness in the morning after a LONG night on the night train. We had arranged to drop our bags off, but didn't think our room would be ready that early in the morning. Eleanor and Mia (the resident dog) greeted us warmly. To our great surprise and relief, our room was already cleaned and available! There were... More
