Great weekend break with friends. Food great and nicely divided bar and restaurant areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pet friendly. Short walk to town centre. Would recommend. Professional but chilled atmosphere.

This hotel was quite expensive but we had a dog with us so needed a place that could accommodate us. The place was dog friendly but when it came to breakfast we were not permitted in the breakfast room

Food and service was excellent. I would like cask beer and not keg or bottled beer. The chef's home made wildboar and choritzo burger was very good. There were one or two issues with the room that were coped with because of the above. The issues were highlighted on departure.

Really good one night stay in the Chieftain. It is ideally located just on the outskirts of Inverness. Good quality rooms with great friendly service. In your room you will also find a complimentary bottle of Irn Bru. Super touch! Inverness and the chieftain book up very quickly in the summer- book early to avoid missing out.

Situated right at the beginning of Milburn Road east of the city centre the Chieftain is easy to find. We visited midweek to try the small restaurant which was situated in a conservatory like extension to the right of the building. Quiet and intimate where we received a pleasant welcome before a table for 5 was quickly made ready. Drinks... More

This hotel was in a perfect location for our touring of all the sites around Inverness. It was even better on our return from a day out to chill out in the bar with the friendly and very helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable and the food was awesome. Great experience, would recommend to all types of travellers.

The Hotel is a bit dated and could be doing with a bit of a revamp. The food was excellent and plenty of it. Cost at the bar was also very reasonable. The hotel was busy but the staff were very much in control.

High standard facilities, confortable beds, in a very spacious family room. Excellent dinner and brekfast. We would have liked to stay one night more but it was full booked. Hope to come back sometimes!

We had difficultly finding a B&B in Inverness, particularly something close to town where we could park the car. We ended up giving up looking for somewhere decent and chose this place as it had a carpark. We wish we didn't. The room was a dormer room which had a tiny window overlooking the busy road which was noisy. The... More
