I stayed here at the Bayview back in January whilst undertaking my John O’Groats to Land’s End trek, my stay here in wick was actually at the end of Day 1 on my journey so it seems a million years ago now! I really cannot speak highly enough of the landlady and the B&B itself, everything you want/expect from a independently ran B&B in a small town. The room was lovely and spacious, warm & cosy (which was very important in January at the top of Scotland), had an en-suite and also lots of nice little touches to compliment the hot drinks available in your room - biscuits, chocolate bars etc, loved this! The room also had some nice tartan touches to it as well which was nice and authentic, and finally the bed was very comfy too. The location was great just a very short walk down to the town centre, the views from my bedroom window was the well maintained garden and the lovely bay, was so nice to wake up to this view at sunrise! The breakfast was spot on, hearty & delicious! The landlady also then made me a pack up for my trek ahead which she didn’t have to do so this was very kind of her - to be honest she couldn’t do enough for me, lovely lady! If anyone is ever in the wick area and needs somewhere to stay for a few days then I would recommend 100%.

We are a couple of catalans. This is a very charming, quiet and clean home. The garden is exceptionally maintained. The lady is wonderful. We had some misunderstanding with the taxi and she took us with her car to the train station. We are extremely grateful.

We stayed for one night whilst on NC500 route. Very spacious en-suite twin room with tea and coffee facilities. Lots of nice touches with plenty of towels, shower gel, tissues and even shortbread biscuits provided. Lovely view from the room which was even more special the next morning when the sun was shining! B&B has off-street parking. A lovely breakfast is provided with plenty of choice. This B&B is highly recommended.
