My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay here. Our room was well furnished, spotlessly clean and with a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom was also up to standard with a good shower, election of toiletries, and piping hot water round the clock. The food in the restaurant is homely rather than haute cuisine but is is... I arrived late last Sunday and was met by a charmless young man to whom it seemed rudeness was a virtue. Not the best start. My room was adequate, clean, tidy and with some nice biscuits. The hot water tap in my bath didn't work though. Do not under any circumstances eat in the hotel. The food isn't the best... More

I recently stayed at this hotel with 7 others on a work trip, when I arrived I was greeted by a professional pleasant young lady, unfortunately that's where the professionalism started and finished. I found the hotel to be clean, tidy and well equipped and very easy to find. My room was comfortable with a large bed, shower, bath and... More

I recently stayed at the Norseman Hotel for a business trip, I was there for 2 days and I wasn't blown away. The outside of the hotel itself is quite depressing to look at and with a "Pound Stretcher" over the road it doesn't give off a great first impression, although the riverside walk adjacent has lovely views. On check... More

The room isn't big, but tidy and clean. I like their breakfast so much, variety of food selection, pretty attractive. Good location with private parking space, can't have a better place for resting during your journey in Highland. Trying to book it in advance or it would be a little bit pricey.

We stayed here whilst cycling the NC500. The location was ideal; very central and easy to find. The staff were very friendly and the rooms where nice and clean. The breakfast exceed our expectations; lots of fresh fruit!!

Centrally located, plenty parking, welcoming entrance, twin room at back facing garden. Didn't like window opening without a lock. Evening meal a little disappointing. Breakfast on the other hand was excellent, not just the standard "full Scottish" with cereals etc but a really good selection of fresh fruit

We stayed at The Norseman a couple of years ago and was happy to book here once again on our most recent trip to The Highlands. We were happy to find that standards have improved at this busy hotel, with a warm welcome and a smooth check-in. The room was clean and tidy and well appointed, ideal for for a one... More

Very average, dated rooms. One room I was in some time ago had an electric heater in it because the radiator wasn't working and there was a hole in the floor where someone had been working on the radiator pipes! The beds are comfy, but the bathrooms are extremely tired and really need some investment. Used a lot by contractors... More
