This was our second stay at this hotel at the end of three days working on the Le Jog classic car event. Arriving at the hotel at 10:30 having worked through the night it was wonderful to have a friendly welcome and to be told that our room was ready for us in spite of the early arrival. Having checked...

Gathered for a large Birthday party for my mother. Sadly the boiler was broken and no heating or hot water in rooms. Although this wasn't the welcome we were after, the staff (Andrew) were faultless in the efforts to amend things. Was given discount and put up in pricer hotel 2 mins walk away. We returned the following day for...

What an improvement since my last visit. The staff are always welcoming and friendly but last time the salad was wilting and the quiche was dry. We ordered tomato and mozzarella salad. Absolutely perfect. Freshly prepared and as good as we had on the Amalfi coast! Highly recommended.

We stayed overnight for a friend's wedding and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was a good size and the bed was comfy enough. Tons of hot water for showers and proper big bath towels. Breakfast is a buffet and covers all tastes. I especially liked the fresh berries. The receptionist was really helpful and we would stay here again.

A poor show. I had booked a double room and upon arrival we were checked into a twin room. I advised reception this was incorrect and they duly checked us into a double room. However, the double room was definitely not up to standard. It was dark, the bathroom light didn't work, the window wouldn't open and the room smelled...

My friend and I stayed here as a last minute thing. Was expensive for what it was. We had a twin room, with dead spiders squashed on the wall. The floor boards creaked so badly we were scared to walk about, but that didn't stop other people, not much sleep was had! The menu had nothing suitable for vegetarians, so...

Outside is offputting and unwelcoming. We stayed for one night and was not at all impressed. Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. No lifts so carrying luggage up to third floor was not what was expected. The room was small and scruffy. The carpet was filthy and window would not close. As it was pouring with rain was not ideal....
