Another great stay on our trip around Scotland, well priced, the accommodation, the welcome and the food were all 5* again. Our hosts were great and the local area is amazing especially at this time of year. The visit to the Orkneys wad fabulous. Stayed two nights

This was one of five sorts of accommodation that we stayed in while driving "route 500" it was the best. Though it was June unfortunately the sun didn't shine, it was wet and damp but the heating was on, so it was warm and cosy. Lovely coffee, lovely breakfast very good value for money.Thank You.xx

Received a warm and friendly welcome. Rooms are spacious and pleasantly decorated. Location is rural and gives you a great view of open skies and countryside. Very handy for Gills Ferry to Orkney and visiting John O Groats and Dunnet Head. Great cooked breakfast. Would certainly go back again.

A fantastic B&B, a very spacious lovely double room, excellent breakfast, wonderful hosts. We were late arriving, but our hosts were really good about that. Our room was so large, so nice, and so comfortable. We really felt pampered. It is a great location if you are planning a trip to Orkney as we were. We stayed two nights, would... More

This has got to be the best room we stayed in on our trip around Scotland. It was very large including a seating area. The bathroom and shower were excellent, super hospitality tray and a nice touch I thought of some magazines in the rack. The breakfast was very good cooked exactly to order a d the scrambled eggs were yummy.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, the location was absolutely superb for our trip to Orkney. The room was fantastic, extremely spacious and well equipped and comfortable with a separate sitting area and superb views over open countryside. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts very friendly and made us feel completely at home.

As a family of 4, we stayed a night in Burnside Cottage and arrived there from the South East of England not knowing what really to expect. To me it was the perfect B & B. It was spotless, warm and cosy. The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind to have waited for us to arrive well past 9 in... More

This is one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in. The rooms are huge and extremely comfortable, with a lovely sitting area as well as the bed, tv and dressing table etc,. There is a feeling of calmness here, which perfectly suits the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed views of the surrounding farmland, as well as the sea. The B&B is... More

Thanks to Ethel and her husband for making us very welcome. We enjoyed our short stay after returning from Orkney. Easy to find. Enjoyed Breakfast, hopefully "Green or Peppermint Tea" option will soon be available for Breakfast which was very enjoyable. Thank you.
