We stayed 2 nights at Carey’s Guest House, on our trip around the Highlands. We hadn’t made any reservation and found a room available sign at the end of the day, after driving around Wick searching for a place to stay for the night. We were welcomed by Phyllis and once we say our room, we decided to book for...

In September I stayed here one night on a return nostaglic visit to Wick after 40 years and had come on t he train so this is really convenient and near to the station (about 5-10). AT first sight it did not look much being directly on the street but inside is wonderful atompshere and size with a splendid spiral...

We stayed at this B&B at the start of our John O'Groats to Lands End cycle, and had only booked it the night before as well so were quite lucky to get it! We found it easily coming from Wick train station and John and Phyllis gave an excellent welcome. The bikes were stored behind a gate and in a...

We arrived dripping wet but were warmly welcomed and our bikes were safely put away in the garage. The room was small but warm and snug and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. Great value and highly recommended.

I enjoyed staying here which concluded my 2 week tour of Scotland. The house is quite interesting if you like older properties, traditional guest house feel, spiral staircase. I had a single room, not ensuite but interconnecting with the room and shared with neighbouring room. Not-ensuite is reflected in the tarriff. The room is small but has everything you need,...

Our room was a very good standard, with a very large bathroom, overlooking the rear garden area. Everything was very clean, and very comfortable, breakfast was good. We were made to feel very...

I had the pleasure of staying at carey's guest house on 22nd August and it was a lovely experience. Lovely quiet room, great breakfast and lovely hosts, John & Phyllis. The house is beautifully decorated to a high standard and really is only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. To be fair I was almost embarassed to pay...

This B&B offers new rooms in an old building with a lot of character. The room was very comfortable and suprisingly we couldn't here any noise from the large street on which it is situated. THe host was very friendly and offered a lot of great tips on how to spend the evening in wick.

Stayed here having completed LEJOG, prior to catching the train home the following morning. Very close to the railway station. A very good room and en-suite. Owners were very helpful, and the bike was locked away securely, they even dide a 7am breakfast prior toe going for the train. Excellent value at £30,I've paid more for a lot worse.
