This lovely large house is well away from the road and so is quiet. It feels like a country manor. It is in excellent condition, very nicely decorated, maintained and appointed and our room was spacious. We were on the lower level...I think the upper level might be better as the kitchen noise overhead in the morning can be annoying....

After driving for nearly 8 hours I could of asked for a better place to stay, rest & unwind. I was greeted by a lovely lady who escorted me to my room along imactulate paisley carpets. I was in the Morven room, which was large to say the least, and the bathroom was amazing. Every thing is produced locally from...

Stayed here on the first night of our jogle walk. After a long journey up, it was areal treat to find a characterful Scottish hotel. We stayed in the river house, and was mesmerised by the birds on the bird feeder, right outside the window. The room was nicely decorated and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant which was...

Great restaurant, great atmosphere, great room. Clean, tide, magnificent. I'll come back tomorrow. If you're looking for a place I think this is the best option around. The charming sensation of loneliness will transport you across the sea. It's like to be dreaming.

We have just spent two extremely pleasant nights at the Forss House. We stayed in one of the Fisherman's Cottage rooms which was very spacious with a fine modern bathroom. Although only a few steps from the house it was very private and quiet. There was plentiful hot water and an efficient heating system so we would have no qualms...

Found this hotel via trip advisor and it matched the reviews. We stayed in one of the River Cottages for three nights. These are a short walk from the main building with large well appointed rooms having a walk in power shower as well as a bath. The quality of food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent. The main...

This gem is located in a park. Room was nice, big, clean and well furnished. Toilette was very fine too. I recommend the restaurant too: food was excellent and service great. Breakfast is at the same excellent level. I payed GBP 175 for a b&b accommodation for 2 people and GBP 80 for a 3 course dinner for 2 people...

We only had one night here so couldn't take full advantage of this friendly small hotel in a quiet location. We were near the end of our holiday and could only fit in one course at dinner, which was very good. A pity we couldn't eat more that night! Anne is a charming hostess and was so concerned that we...

Miss Anne MacKenzie is the epitome of a Highland Lady, and without her graciousness, wit, and charm this hotel would merely be another well appointed country house hotel. We had the pleasure of staying there for three nights which were the highlight of our short holiday. The food was excellent but we did have reservations as we found the menu...

We stayed in Mill house - just next door and owned by the Hotel owners. We ate food in the restraunt on our first night and had a fanstic meal. Staff were friendly and polite. My Fillet steak was excellent and the fish was perfectly cooked. Anne was an asset to the house and her knowledge of the 300+ whiskeys...
