Stayed for 5 nights in February whilst working in the area, I stayed in one of the lodges away from the main building called Ally Shrimp. Great sized room and a massive comfortable bed. I'm assured it was a lovely view but being February I both left and returned in the dark each day. The Hotel is warm friendly and...

This does not feel like a hotel at all. It feels as though an old family friend has invited you to stay in their beautiful home. This doesn't mean that it is not professional and well run, it is, the bedroom was large and comfortable but certainly not done by an interior design team, it felt as though each piece...

My wife and I stayed here for one night whilst touring get whilst touring Scotland. I have stayed several times before. The hotel is situated within extensive grounds of a Victorian house. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food well cooked and presented. However, the feature of Forss House is undoubtedly the welcome of Annie who makes it...

Old fashioned but beautifully presented hotel in amazing location. Our room couldn't be improved on in any way. We stayed on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was full. Food was brilliant and service just right. Woke up on Thursday morning to deer playing on the lawn! Shame we had to go home!!!!!

This is my first time back in many years (at least 10!). Some things have changed - new owners and a lot of visible investment. The food was always superb but the presentation and variety was excellent. We were treated to scallop canopes, a superb crab starter and some excellent lamb and beef for mains and what looked like great...

Stayed for one night on our Scotland tour. A lovely old hotel just off the the road. We had a beautiful room on the first floor with a magnificent bathroom and views of the grounds and river. Very well run hotel, managed by an elderly lady -a great character. Beautiful evening meal- must have a great chef. A huge range...

We had 2 nights here while exploring this wonderful part of Scotland. The welcome was very warm and we were allocated Cairnmore (the yellow room in the photos on the website), one of the Radclyffe Bedrooms in the main building. The room was very comfortable and large with fantastic views, there was a small fridge in the room and tea...

What a lovely place to stay after the drive from Inverness on a glorious day. We were checked in by a charming and capable young manager. My partner was hungry so she made him some delicious sandwiches to tide him over until dinner. Our room was quaint & comfortable. Dinner was delicious & the waitress a delight, despite it being...

We had a large room with comfortable bed (sheets and blanket made a nice change from duvet). It's a quirky small hotel with fine dining, rather nouvelle cuisine - no wonder they were pushing the extra of chips! (don't bother). Lovely friendly staff.
