Mark and Mary are the best hosts. We had a family room which was spotless. There was also a little area where you could make tea and coffee although Mary made us a pot after our return from our Orkney trip. The couple are geared up for cyclists and have a wonderful montage photo wall of previous guests who have... More

Mary and Mark could not be more welcoming. The place is spotless and the breakfasts were the best of our whole JOGLE journey, by far! It was a lovely start to our holiday and the big ride. They even saw us off (with cow bells) as we cycled past the B&B on our way out on the first of our... More

Sometimes, when you read nothing but good reviews on a place it can make you suspicious. But in this case they are all true. What a great place to stay. Let me start with the basics. Nice clean rooms and bathroom and comfortable beds. Then there's the breakfast in the morning..... Oh my this is really yummie. I can certainly... More

From before we arrived, Mary and Mark had taken delivery of our tandem and stored it pending our arrival. Both of them are genuine, warm and welcoming and were interested in our trip.Taking time to talk to us and tell us stories of other cyclists. Two other guests were finishing their LEJOG trip, they were welcomed by a ringing bell... More

I don't even know where to start with this place, from the moment we arrived we were treated like family.....The owners Mary and Mark are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble..... The only negative was leaving in the morning..... I could have stayed here forever... Rooms are set out like a sort of internal Motel, which... More

The rooms are fantastic with a great ensuite facilities. The food is excellent and there is plenty of it. Above all it is the... More

This really is the best B&B you will ever stay in. Mark and Mary were the most warming hosts. Upon arrival at the B&B, it is very relaxed and you receive a lovely welcome from both of them. We were offered tea and biscuits so once we have unloaded the baggage, sat down to relax in the lovely bright dining... More

If you want to feel like you're visiting family, be sure to stay with Mary & Mark! We felt so welcomed from arrival to departure! We're so sorry it was only one night. The way it is laid out is wonderful not only to chat with Mary & Mark but also the other guests. We had a wonderful evening chatting... More

After 13 days cycling from Lands End, with 6 cyclists there was no better tonic then the warm hospitality from Mark and Mary. They made us all feel so welcome, the rooms were spotless and I so wish that I could have stayed longer. The photo below shows me outside the guest house!

I only stayed one night but I should have stayed longer. I will definitely be back. Mary and Mark were wonderful. They have a very inviting guest house. My room was quite large, very clean, and new! I didn't want to wheel my luggage on the carpet because it was in such amazing condition. I highly recommend John O'Groats Guest... More
