I was staying here as part of a running holiday, the accommodation was good and the food excellent. I am a Coeliac and I found there was a range of foods I could have. This is a good Hotel, well run with good food

An ideal place as a base for walking but we were underwhelmed by our stay particularly having read the reviews before we went. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but we felt that they were being overstretched. There was no cosy atmosphere, no log fire on ( I know it is May but we had been walking in snow...

An excellent base for hillwalking, gentler walks and sightseeing in a particularly pretty little village on the edge of the North-West Highlands. Guests range from hillwalking groups to touring couples, both young and older. A lovely small hotel with clean, well-appointed and spacious rooms, both in the old (Victorian) hotel and the nicely converted adjoining annex. The food ranges from...

We stayed here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we found the staff incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and the bar well stocked. The rooms were very comfortable. With stunning scenery on the doorstep we couldn't have asked for more! Can't wait to go back and tackle more hills followed by a lovely meal and a...

We stayed nearby and popped in here for drinks and a nibble after a great days walking. Very friendly owner and the bar area is welcoming if a little small but you don't get hordes of people in this part of the world (thankfully). Excvellent whisky and some decent beer, the draught beat the bottles, all in all a good...

It has a lively bar which is full of guests at the hotel and residents from the town. Everyone is really friendly. I would recommend renting a car so that...

Great location with plenty of walks on the doorstep, especially Glen Affric which was fabulous with lovely mixed terrain and into the heart of the mountains. The hotel had very comfortable and spacious rooms and the staff were very friendly. The food was well presented and delicious.

Just had fabulous 3 days in this quaint old ex-hunting lodge. Came up to our expectations of a quiet, quality small hotel. In fact it's a gem in an oasis of tranquility. The walk up through the conservation village to the classic Victorian Falls is lovely. The ancient, huge trees nowhere else to be seen in Scotland, are on this...

I booked one night here for my boyfriends birthday/Valentines present and we both agreed it was a wonderful place. We were the only two people staying that night, and were made to feel completely at home. We had dinner included in the price and it was faultless, the bar bill was much cheaper than expected and the black pudding at...
