We have just returned from a three day break in Aviemore and loved staying at the Ravenscraig. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about going to Aviemore with the kids, especially as the weather was miserable, however my mood lifted as soon as we arrived at the Ravenscraig. The room was a great size, we were in... More

Excellent guest house. Extremely comfortable & well located. The hosts were brilliant! Our teenage sons were exhausted from our travels & didn't wish to join us for dinner. We bought packet dinners & the hosts offered to cook them & deliver them to the boys rooms. How good is that? Breakfast was superb. What a choice. Would recommend in a... More

We (family of 2 parents and 2 kids) stayed at Ravenscraig guest house this weekend as a part of our Scotland trip. We did not really have huge expectations before we arrived, but the warm welcome and hospitality at arrival would have wiped away any doubts. The owner took us to the room (which appeared both clean, new and well... More

This guest house was more like a small hotel than a B&B, with 19 rooms. Beautiful antique furnishings and a large lounge with fireplace beside the breakfast room downstairs. Our room was comfortable and nicely furnished. A bit on the small side, but most rooms in B&B's in Scotland are small we found. The bathroom was a decent size with... More

We arrived on our motorbikes for a one night stay completely drenched after 25 miles of torrential rain. Our host was very kind, welcoming us to the guesthouse and directing us to the drying room where bikers can out their kit to dry off. There were several other bikers there too who had got wet and I think she felt... More

I stayed here for three nights having called in without a booking and was made most welcome. I had a chalet room behind the house which was quiet, clean, very well appointed and very warm and comfortable with a huge modern bathroom and all the little extras that are always appreciated, including a bathrobe. The people there were very helpful,... More

We stayed here while walking the East Highland Way and arrived here absolutely soaked to the skin. It was no trouble to the staff at all and we were in a chalet room behind the main building which was spacious and warm. They turned up the heating so that we could dry everything. Super big bathroom and great shower and... More

What a find, this guest house is wonderful. A very warm welcome and really comfortable room with everything and more that you would find in any hotel room in Aviemore. The breakfast was lovely and all the staff so friendly and helpful. I hope to come back again soon.

Like some other reviewers, we ended our long distance walk (in our case, the Speyside Way) in Aviemore at Ravenscraig. This was one of the best guest houses in which we stayed. We were in a chalet in back. The room was quiet, and nice and large with a good sized bathroom and shower and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was... More

The guest house and the people there were lovely. The breaksfast was delicous. The rooms were well-stacked and nicely furnitured. Although it is located at a main street, it is a quite and peaceful place.
