Fabulous B and B! Rooms are immaculate and full of thoughtful touches. Having a selection of artisan tea and coffee makes such a welcome change from the awful sachets of instant. The flask of sherry was lovely too. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented. A wonderful stay.

I stayed in this guest house 31st August and have not seen better in Scotland. Attention to detail is superb and nothing is too much trouble its just a pity there are not more rooms so more people can enjoy the experience. Don't ever go anywhere else in the area, the best, they have set the bar high.

My fiancé and I spent a night here in late June. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Everything was immaculate and done to a high standard, and exceptionally comfortable. This establishment sets the bar by with I will judge all other B & B accommodation. Breakfast was prompt and delicious and served in a lovely garden and river view... More

Overdone to the nines but comfortable and full of amenities, many attractive and appreciated. But, and this is a big one, the proprietress was so undone by us missing our two-hour check-in window that she virtually spat on me. Rude and sarcastic on the phone, and filled with bile and unpleasantness in person. When a charming and helpful member of... More

Bed...very comfortable /// Breakfast...very good . But more than that ... The place is fabulous , everything and more than you would wish for from 5 star accommodation . It's the best . The location at Rothiemurchus is unique and once arrived , we never set foot in the car again as activities and places to eat can be reached... More

We stayed at the The Old Ministers in April as part of our honeymoon, it was wonderful. Sheila was very friendly and helpful, she gave us lots of information about the local area including where to eat - her recommendations were great! The room and ensuite were beautiful and absolutely spotless. We had a great nights sleep followed by a... More

My room was the essence of comfort with luxurious amenities. The location is perfect in summer with the surrounding scenery and so near shops and resturants. Loch Morlich being just one of the places of interest. Of course in winter the Cairngorms are so near for sking! Most of all the proprietor shelagh o Neil cannot do enough for you... More

My travel party was reprimanded both over the phone and in person for not having arrived in time, as the hotel check in is between 4:00 to 6:00 pm and we arrived at 7:00 pm. The owner was rude, argumentative & impolite because of our late arrival. She clearly needs training on hospitality and customer service. If the B&B owner... More

I booked this B&B for a 2 night stay as a thank you gift to my mum and step dad. Firstly when I booked, the owner stated that she was only supposed to take the deposit out of my account and without express permission from me deducted the whole amount before arrival. Secondly, my parents did not arrive in the... More
