This guest house was very good and the family room for four adults worked fine. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made. The host was friendly but very short bound. She seemed to be stressed. But this didn't affect us. The guest house is perfect to reach the national park and to explore Aviemore.

Stayed at the Cairngorm Guest House for 2 nights and had to comment about Pauline. Pauline was so attentive that I thought she was the owner! Upon our arrival, 4 hours early, we were wet from walking in the rain. No worries! The room was ready and she invited us to move right in. She gave us cake to accompany... More

We stopped in Aviemore on the way to Orkney. The Aviemore Guest House had pretty good reviews. They were right. Peter the owner greeted us in a friendly and professional way and gave us some good tips. We slept well, the man point of being there, although the rooms in the back extension are not quite as good as you... More

We stayed for two nights and were given a lovely downstairs room with the radiator on as it had been cold that morning, lots of space, a table and two chairs, a hot water bottle (!) and a great modern bathroom with plenty of hot water and space to put toiletries and toilet bags (unlike many other hotels!). Breakfast each... More

We have stayed a number of times and can't wait to go back. Superb breakfast choice and quality. Comfy rooms with lots of hot water. Drying room for bad weather walking kit and a shed for your bike. What else do you want? Excellent

On arrival we were met with a locked front door with a keypad and intercom, we were told to come in then were dragged (with bags ) around stairs and shown back door to use if we were late home, (after 10-30pm)! The room was fine apart from wall paper repairs at headboard! The shower was leaking before water reached... More

Cairngorm Guesthouse is conveniently situated within close proximity to everything you need whilst staying in Aviemore. Back again after two years, I can still highly recommend this guesthouse for couples, families and people traveling for business. The room was spacious, crispy clean and with a wonderful view of the Cairngorm mountains. Breakfast was a feast each morning, topped only by... More
