The price was good value but the room could have done with a bit of TLC and the bathroom was a bit grotty. They could also do with a good litter pick around the grounds outside. The breakfast however was their redeeming factor, well cooked and a good size to set you up for the day.

We were shocked on arrival. Hardly any room to move the pram in the corridor to the family room. No cot despite our booking stating we had a baby. Had to go to bar for room key and find our own way. The room was dark red, the beds squeaked beyond belief and the carpet was in a state that...

We arrived at 2 ,and couldn't check in until 4 o clock, when we went back we were asked to pay before seeing the room ( big mistake ).The ladies toilets in the bar were not cleaned, pooh and tissue all over the place. The banisters on the way up the stairs were very unstable. The room was painted by...

I tend not to believe everything I read on TripAdvisor prior to staying in hotels. Unfortunately on this occasion, everything was true if not worse! The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in (you could feel every spring), black mould throughout the shower room, the shower door was hanging off, paint was peeling off of the walls in the...

My daughter and her husband booked to stay at the Inn from the 27th December 2016 for a few days. Details of payment were taken at the time of booking but payment was not made. Unfortunately, my daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and has now suffered a severe chest infection. Obviously, they are now unable to travel. I called the hotel...

We were looking forward to visiting here after reading the previous poor reviews. However, this turned out be exceptional value and a good night's stay which was cheaper than the hostels and bunkhouses we had stayed in. £30 with full breakfast was great off season value. Staff were fine. Bed a little lumpy, some dust behind the bed but truly...

very disappointed. Room decor very poor, dust in lots of locations (including main lampshade). Cobwebs in the room. Shower base -heavily soiled with black/dark looking mould. TV in room far too small for the room. Cooked breakfast very poor (sausages burnt black and tasted of fish!) Many rooms are above the bar - could hear a lot of noise (and...

Was looking forward to our stay. Looks great from outside and person in the bar was very friendly. Once in the room it is very worn and could do with a lick of paint. And it was very dusty. The bathroom needed a deep clean and even a lick of paint. The bed I could feel every spring and did...
