Where to start? Perhaps the worst thing was the disgusting soap in the dispenser in the shower - it was rancid, or, the strange smell in the basement room with the threadbare carpet, stained sheet and shower head held on to its rail by a cable tie. The advertised parking only works if you are last in and first out,... More

I had a lovely over night stay in the above hotel, It was very central and i had a single room in the basement floor room. It was small and compact and had everything i needed including an en-suite shower. There was people noise from passersby walking and talking it, but this was not noisy for a Thursday night. My... The service was really friendly, but this place is so in need of a total refurbishment. Had the family room which was large and comfy, but mould arond the shower and windows, broken toilet and noisy plumbing!

Booked this very last minute to avoid early morning travel to Glasgow for an appointment the following day and was shocked at how appalling this place was! The "manager" whose mobile no. was pasted to the door told us our room number which turned out to have 3 single beds and not the double we had booked. He then suggested... More

So we arrived on the Friday and were unable to enter the premises, upon calling Brian we were admitted and shown into our room after some confusion as to whether or not we had already paid. As you can see from the photo's the room was vile, there were no handtowels, no bathmats and a LOT of mould. It also... More

No sign of any staff only people who seemed to be living there. No inf regarding breakfast that I had paid for or where it would be. Had... More

No staff and phone message for combo lock to get in main junkyard with key under mat in to what I would say students would be appalled at. Electrics extremely dodgy and absolutely appalling room. Me and two friends stayed here in Feb 2016. The first moment we arrived, we noticed parking area was ridiculous. It was like an old back garden (where each car was parked in front of the other). That was only the start. We went in and was approached by a very unwelcoming staff member (bald guy). We booked a room... More

This hotel suited me perfectly. Very close to public transport, botanical garden, great pubs and restaurants. Room spacious and comfortable, very clean. Good breakfast and wifi. Late check in time worked well with room key left under mat at front door! Brian couldn't have been more helpful.
