Spent one night in a 8-bed room. Location couldn't really be more central in the city, right next to shops and resturants. The room itself was really bad. The floor was really dirty, the toilet didn't flush and the air was really bad! Also there wasn't any nightstand lights, only one roof-light. Also very few outlets for power in the... More

Good location. Kitchen and common room surrounded by glass windows and no air conditioning. It was like a sauna in there. Just sweat when you walk in... No air conditioning in rooms, only one working shower, that didn't work well. Sinks were blocked up and hidden in the rooms. Didn't even know they were there on 1st day. Dirty rooms,... More

Easy booking in with very helpful staff . Easily found and a short walk from Central station with pubs & restaurants also a short walk away . lifts give easy access to all the floors which helps as were on the 9th floor. We were using it as a base for music gigs within Glasgow. 2nd time using Euro hostel... More

We (a group of 3) spent one night in a family room (double bed+bunk bed). Room and sheets were clean and service friendly. Our room was at the 8th floor and rather quiet. Sevetal restaurants at the walking distance, also easy to walk from Central and Queen stations.

I booked an 8 bed female dorm from 3-5 June 2016. The room was alright for the price paid and for its location, although I got somewhere much better in Edinburgh, but that's another review on its own. The room had 4 lockers for an 8 bed dormitory and what was most disappointing was that a male was assigned to... More

On the other hand the service and facilities are great everyone is realy friendly. If i were to visit glasgow once more I would book the same hostel without a... More

We visited in May and stayed for 2 nights. My boyfriend and I stayed in a 2 bed room (1 bunkbed), and we had our own bathroom and there was free WIFI and even a TV. We had no problems with the hostel, and found it to be in a good location right on the river Clyde. It was in... More

Where do I start... 1) The double bed I stayed in had springs piercing into our backs 2) The toilet wouldn't flush 3) The window caused a draft 4) we could hear everybody else moving in neighbouring rooms. On making a complaint for a £70 double room I received no apology or compensation. The manager of the hostel: 'if you... More

The location is great, just two minutes walk from the metro station. Also near to some tourist attractions and shopping areas. However, the room is a little bit messy and the wall is a little bit thin which cannot totally block the noise.

Beds were not comfortable, and rooms were tiny. Nice TV set in every room. Many youngsters everywhere. It didn't feel safe, there was no control on who was entering the building. I liked the fact that there was a pub in the ground floor. Great breakfast buffet!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Why pay more than you have to? You're in town to explore the city, or to go shopping, catch up with friends, maybe see a band, or go to the football, not to spend time in an expensive hotel room. We can offer you most of what the big hotel chains do anyway.... Just with twice the fun and half the price. We have comfortable 1-14 shared single gender dorms, family rooms and disabled rooms, all with en-suite facilities, fresh linen and lockers for secure storage. We have a great bar, Mint & Lime, with cheap prices and daily specials, FREE wi-fi available throughout the hostel. During the day we're showing your favourite sporting events and at night we party with guest DJ's or live bands. All our twin rooms have TV's. We have a guest kitchen to cook your own meals and save a bundle, one TV room with huge TV, chill-out room, secure luggage and bike store, Internet access, towel hire or purchase and a guest laundry. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, we've got that too... Pool tables and a very late liquor license for guests! We welcome groups of all sizes throughout the year and make an ideal choice for sports teams, concertgoers and stag and hen parties. There's plenty of room for the late-night party animals to continue the night without disturbing the peace of other guests. Our staff can organise all of your group adventure activities and tours. Euro Hostel Glasgow is our flagship property and we are very proud of it. It's clean, safe, and friendly and loads of fun. All the rooms are on the higher floors, so when it's bedtime, it's quiet too. Not only do you enjoy cheap accommodation, but because we're right in the city, you save those cab fares as well. We are raising the level within the hostel market so come and see for yourself what all the talk about Euro Hostels is for. *Please note that check in time is at 3PM!* ... more   less
