Why pay more than you have to? You're in town to explore the city, or to go shopping, catch up with friends, maybe see a band, or go to the football, not to spend time in an expensive hotel room. We can offer you most of what the big hotel chains do anyway.... Just with twice the fun and half the price.

We have comfortable 1-14 shared single gender dorms, family rooms and disabled rooms, all with en-suite facilities, fresh linen and lockers for secure storage. We have a great bar, Mint & Lime, with cheap prices and daily specials, FREE wi-fi available throughout the hostel. During the day we're showing your favourite sporting events and at night we party with guest DJ's or live bands.

All our twin rooms have TV's. We have a guest kitchen to cook your own meals and save a bundle, one TV room with huge TV, chill-out room, secure luggage and bike store, Internet access, towel hire or purchase and a guest laundry. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, we've got that too... Pool tables and a very late liquor license for guests!

We welcome groups of all sizes throughout the year and make an ideal choice for sports teams, concertgoers and stag and hen parties. There's plenty of room for the late-night party animals to continue the night without disturbing the peace of other guests. Our staff can organise all of your group adventure activities and tours. Euro Hostel Glasgow is our flagship property and we are very proud of it. It's clean, safe, and friendly and loads of fun. All the rooms are on the higher floors, so when it's bedtime, it's quiet too. Not only do you enjoy cheap accommodation, but because we're right in the city, you save those cab fares as well.

We are raising the level within the hostel market so come and see for yourself what all the talk about Euro Hostels is for.

*Please note that check in time is at 3PM!*

The end of an era none of us wanted 🥺 You’ve seen me through my 20’s, 30’s and early 40’s. You’ve kept me safe and been the familiar ive known and loved for so many years (except when full so had to stay elsewhere). You saw me through multiple work courses when I was down and probably far too many gigs haha! From private rooms to dorms (I realised I’m now too old to have the patience for those 🤣) Gutted you won’t be here anymore when I’m down in the future but thank you for everything and I sincerely wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart for whatever the future holds. Hopefully the building can be revived into another hostel, if not then thanks for the memories xxxxx

TBHonly stayed here because of the price! We stayed on Thursday 5th Oct ,we had booked a double private room. We were going out at 7.30 to a gig so it must have been about 7.00 pm we arrived! First impressions quit nice for the price, I couldn't get the Friday night so decided to take up the offer for a late check out of £5 each to check out at 2 pm! So we went upstairs, first impression of the room was ok and clean! As we had to meet people at 7.30 we just got ready and left, just before we left my friend said to me there's a stain on top of the duvet cover at your side of the bed ,I looked at it and said it's not that big and it's been washed ,just leave it as we don't have time! It looked like a small blood stain! Anyway we went out and had a good night ,went to bed about 2.00 am. Knowing we had a late check out 2 pm. Quarter past ten in the morning there is a loud knock at the door, I got up and opened it and there was a lady there telling me we have 15 mins to leave the room, when I told her we had late check out she shrugged her sholders oh sorry nododay told me! So I did mention the blood stain and the waking us up at 10.15. When we checked out! But the lady on reception wasn't intrested, all she said was our laundry is professionally done by an outside contractor! And I will take a note of your complaints! We won't be back, note to anyone else your better to pay an extra £ 20 to £ 40 pound a night to get something decent!

I visited this hotel today for a work matter and was met by a highly unfriendly and snappy general manager Georgina who was rude and obnoxious. I have never in the years I have been doing my job been met with someone so rude.

I requested a bottom bunk weeks ago as I am awaiting hip surgery, when I got there my bunk had been taken. I went to speak to reception where the rudest man (Spanish) - apparently he is the manager basically told me tough luck there is nothing he could do about it. He then became threatening and aggressive, so I said I would rather sleep in my car. He refused to give me a refund so I am going to the agent I booked through to get my money back. If you are a female I would avoid the place like the plague as the Spanish manager is clearly unhinged.

We were on a two-week trip throughout Scotland during July of 2023 and stayed at a variety of accommodations including a 30-bed dorm, however, this was by far the worst stay/experience. From the moment we arrived, we were discouraged. The lobby smelled strongly of marijuana the moment we stepped in and when we checked in we were immediately harassed by a male member of the staff accusing us of being the source of the smell. We told him we were not and he continued to press us. We continually assured him that we had not smoked. He left, then came back and said "If I find any on you it's a fifty-dollar fine,"... to be clear this man was not a police officer. Of all our stays this place felt the most unsafe, even though we were in a private room. The hostel is connected to a bar and people can freely move from the bar into the lobby with no need to scan a card or use a key to access and use the elevators to where the rooms are. You do need a key card to enter the rooms, however, the additional lock on the inside of our room was broken. The disappointment continued once we entered our room. The bathroom looked unclean with mold around the top, there was no way to circulate air whilst showering and there was a warning on the door saying that you must keep the door shut so as not to set off the smoke detector. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and all of the linens had stains of questionable origins. While looking in the mirror you could see where someone had scrawled "Terrible Grin" in large letters on the trim... no attempt was made to cover it up. There is no access to drinking water in the room and the kitchen was many floors down from where we were staying. We would never recommend this hostel to anyone and would strongly recommend people look elsewhere.

Booked for one night with my partner. We've paid a lot for a private room and we were expecting at least that the room was clean. The toilet was dreadful.. hair and mold all around the shower, the carpet was dusty an smells like was never cleaned. Noises all night, people talking in the corridor at 5 in the morning and just an hour before the check out the stuff started to knock at the door telling us to leave. I would never come back again.

I've been to the hostel as part of and the head of the group. Unfortunately, it was one of the worse experiences that I had. The hostel is located in a very central location, and it's very noisy (because of the street), The reception, at least the morning shift, is not welcoming and not helpful, I had to "fight" for everything that I've reserved in advance or with the reservation. I guess there is a lack of communication between the departments. The rooms are small, the shower for a tall person is problematic with the very small and pure water pressure taken too long to take. The breakfast variety is pure. The free use kitchen is comfortable, and one big wide room near it, although part of the facilities need to be fixed. The elevator is a big problem, works very slow, very slow. Instead of asign room for all the week, the first 2 days we had to change rooms... The twin room is small, the sink is our the bathroom, and the use of the space is wrong. There is no air conditioner and the windows doesn't open wide enough. The beds are not comfortable, the pillow, of one can call it a pillow, is very thick.

Arrived late in the evening, went straight up to room and found clean space, 2 bunk beds with bedding. Nice shower (according to early riser friend who used it)! Big kitchen area with all sorts to prepare your breakfast if you want to- large area for eating and hanging out, watching tv and also mains to charge phones. Also has a bar downstairs with a pool table— and full English breakfast for £6.50- which my friend enjoyed and said we missed out on! - relatively close to central train station.
