Great value for money, will be back for sure. Loved that my room had a nespresso. The extras very a pleasant suprise. Great ambience and the hotel smelt amazing. Quality of toiletteries means I don't need to pack my own next time.

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed for one night. The hotel can be accessed via the airport bus, the bus stops about 5mins walk from the hotel. When you enter the hotel the lobby is huge and modern. To the left is the bar and restaurant and the right has the lifts and entrance to the leisure facility which is a private leisure club connected to the hotel, we did not use it but it looks nice. The bar and restaurant looked nice too but again we did not use those. There is a NCP car park nearby which I believe the hotel has a discount for. The reception were very helpful, we were early so left our bags until check in. Check in was easy, we had a twin room on the 2nd floor. The lifts only take you to the floor you select, something to be aware of. The room was very spacious and modern, it had a floor to ceiling window which on our side overlooked the back of the central station. There was a huge desk area, water for Radisson Rewards members, a safe, iron and huge wardrobe. The bathroom was nice but not that big. Nearby there are a lot of bars and restaurants, up the high street which in under the bridge, opposite is a pub and co-op and about 5mins walk away is the river. There is a bus stop right by the hotel and the nearest metro stop is only a few mins walk away. We stayed using points and money so unsure of the pricing for a normal stay. Overall a great hotel in a great locatrion,

We stayed in a standard room which was surprisingly well equipped, no bath robes though. The room had a very large desk, safe, fridge, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Best of all, Tunnocks Caramel Wafer biscuits on the tea tray. We had a lovely welcome at reception and was allowed to check in a little early. All the members of staff we met were friendly, helpful and smiley. Had lovely cocktails in the bar that evening. Can recommend the Socialite (nice and boozy). They also made my daughter a mean Amaretto Sour even though it wasn’t on the list. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, even square sausage( which was cold though) and potato scones. Only let down was the leisure facilities, cold changing rooms, insecure lockers and generally rather tired looking. Although once again, the staff were lovely. I appreciate that this is a private run club so would not let this put me off staying here again. Will love to return but maybe leave my swimming cosie at home.

We'd never stayed in a Radisson before and were very impressed. There was a bit of an issue with our booking at the start (my fault) and the receptionist sorted it out calmly and efficiently. Room was a good size and everything in it you would expect. Breakfast was exceptional. We had dinner on one night and it was good. Hotel is situated very centrally so is ideal for the city centre and exploring elsewhere.

Fantastic hotel, lovely, professional & helpful staff & amazing breakfast. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and the girl at reception arranged a surprise treat of chocolate covered strawberries & a card in my room. Such a lovely gesture. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely return.

Very enjoyable stay. could have been made better by a couple of things. During the night the room temperature was stuck at 24 degrees too hot for comfortable sleep and could not easily reset the thermostat through bleary eyes. Other than that i spent a lot of time waiting in a queue to check in and out. Could be made slicker

Good Evening, Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your overall time with us and hope to welcome you back to our hotel in the near future. We do apologise that check-in and out was a little slower than usual, in which we will look at what we can change in order to avoid this in the future. I have passed this information over to our maintenance team to look at the air conditioning and rectify. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to our hotel in the near future. Kind Regards, Radisson Blu Glasgow

I stayed there on a business trip with two colleagues. We were booked into another hotel near by that was just not a place you would want to stay. Luckily the Radisson Blu could accommodate us for the three nights required. Very friendly staff checking us in. We had full days and were a bit tired in the evenings so rather than walking around looking for a place to eat we ended up having supper at the hotel's restaurant twice and one evening just drinks and snacks, Dawn was our server on all occasions and she was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. Thank you Dawn! The breakfast buffet was excellent and was included in the room rate. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and spacious. Would I recommend this hotel and stay there again. You bet! // Jenny, Sweden

Buliding work in the room above woke me up every day first 10 days along with housekeeping walking in despite the do not disturb sign, (two week stay) and made the room uninhabitable. Very loud drilling and hammering at 9am. They were well aware this was scheduled and still booked me in the room underneath and took my money. I had a seriously miserable time here and I feel badly ripped off. They have offered no compensation just their apologies and a different room (after multiple complaints, not the first) when everything is now unpacked in this room and I had no intention of packing it all up without notice, and wasting an afternoon of my busy time moving. I did so anyway, and was woken up by housekeeping walking in the new room 2 days after despite not leaving the make up. the room sign on the handle. There is no way to get any peace here, I might as well have stayed in the first room with the building works. Pick your unwanted alarm clock... The new room had a separate bath and shower, the showers water pressure made it unusable anyway. I need a shower to feel properly clean after a bath so the one thing I enjoyed about this hotel in the first room where both bath and shower worked and were together, was removed from me. Getting the rooms cleaned properly will be your problem, and I had to request during a long stay that my sheets were changed and the room hoovered. They still weren't and I had to continuously chase basic cleaning being done. Unless you ask they will just (badly) tuck your used sheets back under the bed and put little points on the loo roll. Just appearances. The new rooms floor was wood, rather than carpet which I ended up cleaning as walking across it showed just how long since it had been mopped, not just hoovered, it left the bottom of my feet black with dirt. The fresh towels and sheets had also stains and my first room had someones old razor plus hair left in the bath when I got there. Really unimpressed with the housekeeping and whoever does their laundry. On top of that the rooms paper was peeling, and the second one had what seemed to be blood on the wall. In room dining was terrible. Every meal I ordered in room was either missing something (eg bread from a breakfast of fried eggs and bread?! 9 pounds for 2 fried eggs) or charged for the wrong item, fanta instead of orange juice, more expensive. I gave up in the end as it was too stressful trying to correct the errors and just got food from Sainburys or delivered to keep in the room. The staff also don't apparently get their tips either if you add them to the dining receipt which concerned me. The air conditioning did not work the first 5 days despite asking everyday for it to be fixed as it didn't go down past 19 and my medical condition means I absolutely rely on air conditioning to keep me colder, one of the main reasons I chose the hotel, the fan also made a loud bass thumping noise which air con shouldn't so had to turn off at night when I needed it the most. They gave me a fan to put in the room but a lesser hotel could have done that. Last time I stayed the fan didn't make a noise and the air con worked fine so I know it was a fault with that fan but they weren't interested when I asked if someone could look at it. I was told it's normal. I was proved it wasn't as the air conditioning in the new room did not make this whomping noise and made the usual white noise hiss which meant at least I could finally sleep until whatever interruption they chose to visit upon me that morning. I would just also let people know you cannot plug hdmi into their tvs so if you have kids with a switch or want to hook up your laptop it won't be possible. They can offer you a very old small tv without a remote though. For a real 4 star hotel I would now look elsewhere. They seriously misrepresented themselves over the building works and I will be taking legal action to get my money back. These issues are something you might not notice staying a night or two but any longer stay the issues are very apparent and will absolutely ruin your trip.
