I booked a room last minute after a mixup with another reservation at a neighboring hotel. The location is great, on the edge of to city center and west end. It is, however, next to the expressway, but I really wasn't bothered by much noise, other than the guests talking in neighboring rooms. The rooms were small but had clean... More

Quite a nice little room with ensuite, very clean and comfy. Breakfast was very nice and included in the price. My only criticism is that the room was a bit stuffy and small but pretty good value for the night. Also had a really good location and easy to find.

I stayed in this guest house for the first week during my relocation to Glasgow. Its a comfortable and good place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast has variety and is delicious. The location is close to the city center but is not too noisy. Many options nearby for shopping, lunch and dinner. Visitors can consider... More

Very central Guest House. Our room was basic but very clean and had everything we needed. If I had been an overweight person I might have trouble getting in the slimline shower .The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything you could desire was available at breakfast time – either cooked or continental. If you just want a reasonably priced basic... More

Location of the hotel is very good, the comfort of beds are so-so. Relatively calm and quiet place for this central location. The Scottish Breakfast is 1100 kcal! (some other breakfast alternatives are available too).

Owner seems okay with numerous people smoking outside of the property and littering cigarettes (despite the outdoor receptacle). The rooms were clean and average for the price. Kitchen staff the last day were friendly but overall, we weren't thrilled with the service. We'll go somewhere else next year.

Cheap and mostly clean. Bathroom was not in very good condition, but did the job although it was very cold. Locationwise it is a bit outside the centre, but still within walking distance. Provided good breakfast. Very friendly staff that will gladly help you with all your questions.

Last year I spent my Christmas & New Year holiday in Glasgow. I was actually looking for 1 or 2 star hotel in center of the Glasgow city. We went there to enjoy the holiday and obviously on those days we spent most of our time outside the hotel. So there was no point spending too much on accommodation, just... More
