Immediately I entered the room I felt like leaving immediately. The size of the bed was damn too small. It was a very single size bed. I managed till morning but was nit comfy on that bed. The full English breakfast was not full at all very small

There's no lift, so be prepared to lug your stuff up a steep winding staircase! When we opened the door to the tiny room we were immediately assaulted by air "freshener" which was in the form of those dispersal sticks. We moved those to the lidded trash can for the duration of our stay! There was only one light--a glaring... More

With little choice in where to stay, we ended up here. Big mistake! You are not told that the shower rooms are shared with 3 other rooms. The shower head was broken and the fittings old and tired. The room was clean enough and towels were replaced. But there were not any paper towels in the shower / toilet room.... More

The room was very nice and beds comfortable. Staff was nice and accommodating. We had to leave at 6:30am and even though the cooked-to-order hot breakfast didn't start until 7:30am, the gentleman set up all the cold breakfast items so we could still eat cereal, yogurt, toast, etc.

We stayed in Charing Cross Guesthouse for one night and I am happy that we did not stay more. The greatest flaw was cold room. First of all, the room is basic, pretty small with wash basin inside the room, The bathroom.comprises a shower and a toilet and it is very small, narrow. The room and the bathroom were quite... Spacious room with great storage space and nice decor. Facilities were clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was always lovely and cooked well. City centre and shops a short walk away and transport of every kind available.

There was not lift and it was very hard to go upstairs with our suitcase. We stayed two nights and they didn't make our bed. It was not clean enough. It needed a fully reform because it was very old. It is not far from the city centre. Breakfast was ok.

I booked a room last minute after a mixup with another reservation at a neighboring hotel. The location is great, on the edge of to city center and west end. It is, however, next to the expressway, but I really wasn't bothered by much noise, other than the guests talking in neighboring rooms. The rooms were small but had clean... More

Quite a nice little room with ensuite, very clean and comfy. Breakfast was very nice and included in the price. My only criticism is that the room was a bit stuffy and small but pretty good value for the night. Also had a really good location and easy to find.
