The good point is the hotel is centrally located in the center of Glasgow. It is next to Queen St station and on George Square. The hotel is very tired and shabby. I had a room facing George Square and was a little noisy. The rooms are better than the shabby communal areas. The reception was particularly unhelpful refusing to... More

If you like to listen to the trains while going for an early night, this is the hotel for you ! Ooh and did I mention it's haunted I caught some orbs flying around my room while on video mode on my phone. Pretty cool though, breakfast was okay then again stay away from the bacon. Close to many of... More

The hotel is situated right next to Queens St station which was convenient for me. I paid £100 for the night without breakfast (twin room on a Friday). The room was comfortable and the staff helpful. There are many places to eat nearby including Wetherspoons which is literally a one minute walk away if that.

My son got me this for my birthday. We were shown into the conservatory which we thought would be lovely view over the square. Was too hot sitting there. Prosecco was chilled. Sandwiches weren't that great scones were good and cake selection was good. By the looks of the other tables in the conservatory they also didn't enjoy the heat... More

The hotel itself is in a great location in George square. I was here overnight for an event and meeting some old friends in the city. I liked the bar area and reception with the views over George square. The staff were friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The rooms however in my opinion need some updating. I understand the hotel is... More

I ordered a twin room...Check in was quick, and hotel staff efficient however on entering my room, I was given a single room. The room looked like and smelled like a student halls residence. The furniture dated and the lifts were slow. For the prices charged I wouldn't stay here again. There are better hotels within waking distance - same... More

We , a group of Five friends had dinner here , in a room to ourselves overlooking George Square and that was very nice, but unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. The fish was mostly batter , not to hot either and the mushy peas were just that. Very poor cuisine. Pudding not much better. A chipped... More

I stayed here with friends after a party in the hotel. We had a great time, the food was good party style finger food that everyone enjoyed. The beds were comfy and the rooms surprisingly quiet considering the location right next to George Square. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very chatty and attentive. In the afternoon we... More

We arrived on Saturday at 2-30pm to be told that the room wasn't ready! Had a drink in the bar, nice friendly staff. Went to room, which we paid extra for, on the Club floor. The room was spacious and nicely appointed, nice bathroom. It went down hill from here. Included in the Club room rate was drinks and nibbles.... More

Went with a friend Saturday 13 August 16. Afternoon tea witha glass of prosecco, disappointed to say the least! Sat in front of a window looking onto George Square, very nice if they have proper airconditioning. Instead the sun beat in making it extremely hot and uncomfortable. Sandwiches were drismal pathetic half cucumcer slice in one, scraping of salmon in... More
