Wonderful rooms -all very clean and bright-also well heated -breakfast on the morning can be a full Scottish if you want incuding porridge and oatcakes!! or just cereal and toast If you are at boots on sauchiehall street you can turn right onto Cambridge street to walk on the flat but if you go past Scott street (which is like... Very clean with friendly and helpful staff. As much as you can eat breakfast. Reasonable rates and only one street up from Sauchie hall. Been back a dozen or more times. Nothing speaks louder than repeat business

Stayed here with friends for an overnight night out in Glasgow. Got the room at a great price but we were very sceptical because of it! We were actually pleasantly surprised. We had a nice big room, clean, basic. And done what we needed. The bathroom was dated. It was like a peach colour. We did stay a second time,... More

As its name suggests this hotel is not a new building. It is located on the edge of the city centre and is a 15 minute walk from Glasgow Central railway station. On arrival in Glasgow I decided to walk to the hotel from the railway station and wish I hadn’t as the route is mostly uphill. Then to get... More

We booked on Booking.com and stayed in a large, clean, airy room (5) on the ground floor, the beds were clean and comfortable, at the price we paid we didn't expect a boutique hotel so we weren't disappointed! The room had the usuals, tv. hairdryer, hot shower, we found the room hot as it was at the front and asked... More

The hotel is atop a steep incline if you walk over from the bus station. It also has a fairly steep stepped entrance and stairway to the rooms. Not very pleasant if you have heavy luggage. In general the place is clean and tidy, very british style. It needs some renovavtion. I think my rooms was one of the rooms... More

Quick overnight for work. Perfectly good for that, I'd try and find something a little smarter for leisure. The hotel is a grand old Victorian terrace, up steep incline and not suitable unless mobile. The room was tired for sure but clean. The bed was good and the shower powerful and warm. The breakfast was excellent for the price of... More

Nice wee hotel that I have used for years. The hotel is fine. It is cheap so not top notch but it is clean, warm and the breakfast is decent. Rooms are good. Location is fine although some steep hills to climb to get to it so for some people that might be a problem. Thankfully not for me so... More

Easy check in, easy parking (just pay for a voucher from reception, great location, comfy bed, large clean room room, tv with freeview, good size en-suite, free wifi throughout, amazing breakfast (full scottish breaskfast plus continental, toast, juices, cereals etc. Paid £52 for both of us for a Saturday night - the breakfast alone is worth it. If I had... More
