Located directly on the river bank with wonderful views from the bar and restaurant, and a 15-20 mins walk along the river into the the City Centre. Free parking! Our room and bathroom were larger than some other city centre Hiltons that I've stayed in. I would have liked a river view but did not pay enough! Great service and a high attention to covid precautions.

Very good and clean hotel, staff very friendly, particularly the restaurant staff in the mornings and evening, Allen what a trooper very friendly and helpful and even was kind enough to speak a bit of Portuguese. In the evening the Italian woman made us feel at home. Great place ! Enjoy!

From the outside this hotel would appear to be a generic basic lodging place aimed at business travellers and event attendees for the nearby SECC exhibition centre. However I can heartily recommend choosing this over any other similar options. The simple layout works well with great internal light day and night and feels spacious without being sterile. The architects have made pleasing choices of surface finishes and decor. Visiting during tier 4 CV-19 restrictions the hotel felt reassuringly clean with hand sanitiser dispensers located throughout. Do choose a river view room - our 5th floor view was gorgeous, particularly at night. There is also a river-side terrace which must be lovely in the summer. Without exception the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful - nothing was a problem and we were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast and dinner were totally decent.

Good Afternoon A3910TQchrisj, Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review of your recent stay here at the Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow. It great to see such good comments about the hotel overall and about our COVID-19 responses. We must agree the views are stunning from our 5th floor rooms and even more so at night when the bridge is all illumined. The terrace is one of the best place in Glasgow when the sun is shining on one of the few days we get it in Glasgow. We do hope to welcome you back soon. Kind Regards Jason McGougan Operations Manager

After working away it was required for me to isolate in the hotel for 14 days after a short search I chose this hotel purely on the price and wasn't expecting to much, a very budget Hilton, how wrong was I. Staff always friendly and bend over backwards to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Food, although no lunch the breakfasts and dinner choices are excellent and the service friendly and professional. the staff in the restaurant are knowledgable and extremely helpful. the facilities are as to be expected but I would say at the top of their range. Gym is well laid out and if you are just wanting to use running machines or use dumb bell weights, no bars are available, then its got exactly what you need. in summary if you are expecting 5* Hilton at a cheap price then book the 5* Hilton but if you are expecting a budget hotel with limited choice you are in for a lovely surprise. well worth the money and well worth a stay, especially if you are visiting the hydro, armadillo or secc, walking distance to the city centre as well. All in all quality on the Clyde!

Excellent stay. Room was immaculate and there was still an eat in the restaurant with a reasonable menu. All staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant staff and Chef could do enough to provide a high star card of service considering the restrictions. COVID-19 secure and conscientious without being rude or forcing the issue.
