I stayed here while my wife was in Glasgow Royal for a knee op, it's a great hotel in an excellent area, loads to do nearby! The staff at the hotel are truly excellent and the bar area is very nice and relaxing both inside and out, I will definately be back to stay again, thanks!!

This was a weird hotel! It is very dark due to the walls being painted dark blue and red. After checking in and paying, we were told that the hotel was having a "club" night and it would probably be very loud until 2 am. We ended up being out until 1am anyway, and by the time we had gotten... More

Was needing a cheap, central hotel for an overnight stay and this fitted the bill. Decor was a little dated (as mentioned in other reviews) and the corridors a little dark but the room was comfortable, quiet and clean and the staff are really friendly and so helpful - tested this out by forgetting a shirt which they found and... Haven't been to this hotel for quite a number of years and reading recent reviews I was a little apprehensive. Thankfully I had a great stay. Staff were very helpful and as friendly as I remember and the food was great, try the Fergusoni pasta with prawns it's delicious! My partner also had the beef burger and chips which is... More

I didn't have high expectations reading other reviews, so wasn't disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful which really helped. When the reception is unattended, they also work in the adjoining bar/cafe. The location is good and central and from the outside looks quite smart. However, the whole place looks shabby and the red/blue hallways are as gross as... More

Stayed there last night, hotel's in a great location, the staff were great, friendly and helpful. Left my bag in reception in the morning and it was in my room when I got back later in the evening. The room was spacious but very very tired, spot lights hanging from the ceiling, in fact the entire hotel looked tired and... More

Hired the pent house Apartment for a night to host my daughters 21st Birthday Party. Fantastic Venue for small intimate parties (max 75 persons). Hotel provide a bar and buffet. You get three rooms in the pent house, 2 are small twins which are nothing special however the master bedroom is spacious and has a huge en-suite bath. There is... More

We left it late booking a room for the night of 7th June for after the Coldplay concert. Every hotel was booked up for that date but we managed to get a room here. Reading the reviews I was slightly dubious but beggars can't be choosers. We arrived at 12.30 but the room wasn't ready however the man in reception... More

The hotel is in a good location and the price is competitive but that's where the positives stop! Smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in! So small you had to side step around the bed to navigate the room. Located next to a very busy/noisy street, so don't expect much sleep. The hotel has also seen better days and... More

We had a small, smelly, noisy, dirty room. Pubic hair on the 'clean' bedding. The worst nights sleep in my life, I didnt sleep a wink. Overpriced hotel, avoid at all costs. This hotel shall be recommended to nobody! Gads.
