Our stay in the Argyll was nice. Accomodations were roomy and the breakfast was very good. The best part was the location. It was in the western part of Glasgow, with lots of restaurants. Only a few steps from Aran Mor, a restored church with great food and music venues. Close walk to the Kelvingrove Museum.

Tienest room with a small hole called wardrobe. very small bathroom. Breakfast is not good (cost £8.50). I have stayed in Argyll Hotel before which was good but this time I stayed at Argyll Guest House which was not what I extected.

Quick and friendly check in/out. Room very nicely decorated with new tartan finishes. Room not overly spacious but clean and the bathroom was a nice size and shower lovely and hot. Free shower gel/hand wash and tea/coffee tray were appreciated. Handy for gigs on Sauchiehall Street. Would definitely go back.

Stayed for business whilst at the SECC. It's handy but pretty expensive for what it is. Room quiet and clean. Parking not good. There are less expensive alternatives around the area. Breakfast good and staff really helpful.

My family and I stayed here just for a night. The most absurd thing I found about this hotel is that the reception is in a different building than the guest house. So after lugging up all our bags from the taxi to the reception, we had to drag them back down and across the street to the guest house... More

We enjoyed our stay (of two nights) very much. The rooms are lovely, Scottish-themed everything (curtains, pillows, walls). It was very quiet albeit on a main road, location is excellent (a 20 minute-walk from the center, and there's always the bus). Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Eliot, who was a great help. I'd definitely go back on my... More

First time staying in Glasgow, was very impressed with the Guest House, the room was downstairs, which my wife did have a bit of difficulty with, but overall she enjoyed it,situated in a quiet area, and nice bars and eating places, will stay here again.

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. Good information about parking and bus routes at their fingertips. Parking vouchers can be bought at reception, £2 + £2 (am + pm) covers the whole day. Bus route 77 stops outside the hotel. 8 minutes to the city centre. Buses every 10 ~ 15 minutes. No change given on buses - £2.50 to centre... More

I'd prepaid for my room on a bookings website, but was asked to leave a pre-authorised card swipe for "security reasons" (or £50 cash!) I struggle to see the point of this - I made it clear that I wouldn't be eating or having drinks which could be charged to the room. The room itself was down some very steep... More

We liked the interior of the room: Scottish-type bedcover & decoration. Spaceous and comfortable ensuite double room. Very good sleep quality. Centrally located, city centre is in walking distance. Friendly receptionists, fast wifi connection, clean and nice room & comfy beds, friendly atmosphere. Luggage storage room is not really monitored, not 100% safe. We booked a budget hotel but we...
