I stayed at the Hotel during a very busy Friday night, during the Christmas party season. The staff were very welcoming and the service excellent. I was taken to my room (helped with my bags) and shown where everything was in the room. The room itself was modern, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast (included) in the morning was excellent....

Booked our work Xmas night at the Centre and stayed over as knew be a nightmare to get a taxi. The service was first class. The food well received, except some did not enjoy a heavy pudding, but otherwise fantastic night. The Ceilidh band made it extra special. The room itself was very clean and cosy. Home from home. The staff is super friendly, the room small but comfortable, and the location fantastic! We walked everywhere we wanted to go in Glasgow from the hotel. They welcome you with a dram on check in. The breakfast is hearty and tasty. Whisky at the hotel is cheap (3-4 pounds, common but good selection). My wife enjoyed the deep bathtub. We...

I highly recommend The Pipers' Tryst Hotel. The room was tastefully furnished; the bathroom contained a bath and a shower; the bed was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed the delicious Scottish breakfast. Staff were attentive yet not fussy. The location makes it ideal for theatre trips. Glasgow City centre is accessible on foot.

For the money (£75) it's well worth it. Excellent staff, good locality and room was better than expected! Complimentary dram of whiskey on arrival was a lovely surprise! Disappointing continental breakfast but tbh that's the best criticism I can come up with! Tip : if travelling into city on the airport shuttle bus service then stay on board till main...

Great restaurant for pre theatre deal ahead of a theatre visit. Restaurant is directly opposite the Theatre Royal. They have a good value pre theatre menu. Good choice and value. Very attentive staff. Pleasant surroundings. Car parking nearby too with special parking rate after six. Ideal for theatre visit.
