We only stayed in the travelodge for the one night, but our impression over all was very good. Friendly welcoming staff, well maintained & cleaned. Bed was very comfortable & got a good sleep. We were central to most things & it wasn't too far for us to make it to our venue for the show.

I've visited a few Travelodges around the UK over the past few years, but this was my first visit to the Glasgow Central Travelodge. Like all Travelodges booking was simple, checking in was simple, the room and facilities were simple etc. They do pride themselves in their Dreamer Beds and I would have the agree that they are amongst the...

Stayed here two nights this week on a business trip. The rooms are small, but clean, bed was comfy and it had a pretty decent shower. Located near shops and approx 15 mins walk from central town. Tip - get a room in the back of the hotel, much quieter than the rooms at the front (according to colleagues who...

I know that people will say that you get what you pay for and if you stay, on business, in a Travelodge in Central Glasgow you only have yourself (or your employer) to blame. Nevertheless this is a truly miserable hotel and my advice would be to steer well clear. The rooms are clean but charmless and tired and the...

This was our 3rd stay at this central location and we stayed 4 nights. It is only 5-10 minutes from Buchanan Street Bus Station or 15 minutes from Queen Street Railway Station. It's also handy for seeing all of the sights in Glasgow as the Subway (tube) at Cowcaddens is only 5 minutes walk too. The rooms are smallish but...

We stayed in the same hotel a few years ago and things were much the same as before. It's a place to rest and a bed for the night, There's a bar but not a great variety of drinks. Food was OK. The staff were very pleasant. It's nicely located near the town centre, close to junction 17 on the...

Chose this Travelodge thinking it would be just a short walk with my very heavy luggage from there to Glasgow Central Station next morning - it was actually quite a trek. Unusual to see so many staff at a Travelodge, particularly in Reception area - and they were welcoming and friendly too. Noisy outside but that's not the hotel's fault....

Travelling on the Oban train the next day and needed somewhere inexpensive that was near both stations and would take bikes. This did not disappoint. staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and the hotel is near the main shopping centre and great restaurants. (The Wee Curry Shop close by was exceptionally good). The breakfast was a bit...

Small, but perfectly formed would describe my room. Large comfy double bed, not much room to walk around it but there was a desk and chair - everything I needed. The shower was over a small bath, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Friendly staff, nice bar downstairs. I did not try breakfast. The hotel is a short...
