We enjoyed our lunch after touring the Glasgow Cathedral. We had fish & chips and wild mushroom salad. Our food was good with a lot of flavors. We sat upstairs so we had a nice view. The staff was pleasant and very helpful beyond the cafe service.

Absolutely beyond shocking!!! Keep in mind i have stayed here many times over the last few years... Checking in - nice lass, told me when breakfast was and where - thats it... Room - twin but beds are together because the room is not big enough to have them separated, although the bathroom looks ok at first glance not so... More

From the outside it looks like it might be ok, but once you walk in it really is shabby. The room I stayed in was very tired and needs some money spent on it to get it to an acceptable standard. I'm not sure where the photos on the website are from, but they don't bear much resemblance to the... More

To be fair I was with a coach party. But - the promised restaurant venue had been taken over for a funeral and so almost 30 of us were 'accommodated' in the bar for an initial coffee and biscuit morning break. It was very tight for space; some people waited a while for coffee and the biscuits finally appeared when... More

Stayed here and found it to be every comfortable, it also has very interesting history. It's also very atmospheric. The view towards the Necropolis from my bedroom was just fabulous. The menu was good for both Dinner & Breakfast, and food was very tasty. Their staff were very welcoming and helpful.

We stopped off here for a drink as it looked an interesting building . It certainly is. Worth a visit. Very friendly staff and they have a nice dining room upstairs. Not eaten here so I don't know what the food is like. However the dining room is only open on Saturday and Sunday during the quiet months.

Met with family for an overnight stay. Really nice place, full of character! We dined in the bar as the restaurant is undergoing refurbishment, the food was really nice and didnt take long to arrive at our table. Breakfast also plentiful and really nice. The staff we seen over the time we spent there were so nice and welcoming, and... More

Some of the staff at this Hotel need better training on how to deal with customers but after being lied to by the person in charge this isn't going to happen. I had to wait at least 15mins when I arrived while the only staff present was on a personal call. When shown my room I discovered the Tv and... More

Hello Elizabeth, As proprietor of Cathedral House, I am always disappointed to hear we haven't delivered the standards we are trying to attain to a customer. Some of our younger staff are undergoing comprehensive hospitality training and perhaps have a bit to go. The person on the phone will be spoken to by myself.I know our stairs can be challenging,...
