We stayed here for one night when visiting a show at the SECC/Hydro. The hotel is good, with onsite parking (charged £9 per day) - you just register your license at reception during check-in. The entrance is nice with friendly staff and our room was spacious. I must admit, looking out of the window towards the motorway, I feared the... More

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at Glasgow Marriott. After United failed to deliver my luggage just prior to starting the West Highland Way, the staff at the hotel helped me find outdoor equipment stores nearby, extended by check out time without asking, and provided additional information to help me get to my next destination. At all... More

We stayed at this hotel during our CIE Tour of Scotland. This was a very nice hotel. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful. During breakfast the next day, there was a very sweet middle aged lady who worked in the breakfast area who was exceptionally kind and friendly to... More

The Marriott Glasgow is a large multi story 1970s concrete building positioned next to the motorway. I guess all the rooms are pretty standard and our room was perfectly functional. Considering the position it was reasonably peaceful. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Parking was plentiful and reasonably priced for the city centre. The leisure club is best... Fantastic rooms as always with Marriott Hotels the beds were soon comfy. However the Glasgow Marriott has more facilities including a shop which sells snacks and drinks as well as gifts. This is great especially for families with children as you can buy bottled water & soft drinks, chocolate, crisps etc & take them upto your room. They are a... More

The staff were very nice here and the bed comfortable but the rooms are quite dated. The hotel is in need of an upgrade. The elevators were very quirky while we were there - shuddering and hesitating numerous times while going up and down to our floor. Parking is quite costly at 9 GBP per nite but that's nothing compared... More

Stayed here last weekend. Paid for bed and breakfast. Check in was as smooth as always, the room however must have been the only one still to have smokers allowed. As Soon as you opened the door the smell of mould, musty, old smoke hit you, twice I needed my asthma inhaler. Breakfast was definitely not worth the £15, sausages... More

As a solo traveller this catered for all my needs. The room was comfortable and the location was within perfect walking reach for all I wanted to see, but then I tend to love walking to discover new cities, and therefore maybe a little too far from the city centre for those who have trouble walking long distances. The amenities... More

We used to love this hotel but it needs refurb. Staff are great, especialy Muriel at the breakfast's and barmaid who arranged a surprise for us in our room on our 48th wedding anniversary where we got an icebucket with two bottles of Cava and Happy anniversary ballons laid on. Sleep quality was bad due to noisy moters or fans... More
