For the price it should have been much better. Fundamental things not right. Lift didn't work. Tv remote didn't work. Sweet wrappers down side of bed. Restaurant loud Loud air vent so no sleep. Some things like the beds were fine but expected much more for the price.

Always a friendly welcome. Staff most helpful. Food good. Rooms good. Could do with more hangars. Great location in Central Glasgow, especially for The Worlds. We like to visit Glasgow at least twice a year if possible for the Pipe band Championships and the Celtic Connections Music Festival and the staff are happy to have a chat at the end... More

Perfect location. Lovely architecture and great breakfast. Appart from that, small and old rooms, no lift due to fault for three days. Sleeping could be good if you like really soft mattresses like water ones.

It's always a shame when a hotel is let down by the little things. The staff really try and help and make your stay the best it can be but sometimes the little things add up. Paper napkins in the restaurant when the food is top class just let the whole place down. Now I am not a snob but... More

Just checked out of the hotel today. My daughter and I booked here for a relaxing peacefull two days but we're awoken both mornings at 5am by banging of doors and noise. We had evening meal first night which we both ordered steak. One had to be sent back as it was just a lump of fat. In what was... More

Booked a 'comfort' room for a couple of nights away with husband for our anniversary. The hotel is lovely with an amazing looking lift. Its a shame this was not working when we stayed. We were only on the first floor so not to far to get to our room. 'Comfort' room would be better described as a 'hot shoe... More

We have stayed in many hotels and often upgrade to the superior rooms if reasonable. This hotel is not worth the upgrade or the stay for that matter. Good location but out with that ,there isn't a whole lot to set it apart from any other hotel in the city. The lift was broken which meant we had to walk... More

We book this as rare children free weekend away & a trip home as we live down South now. We arrived & the first room we were put in was right next to a noisy air duct. We called down to reception after no answer we went down. Waited several minutes till the reception was off the phone . We... More

Ok hotel, quite dated and run-down. Definitely seen better days. Rooms were very small (You get bigger in a Travelodge) and staff quite rude and un-helpful. Breakfast poor and very slow. Only stayed because it was hired for someone's wedding but wouldn't bother staying again.

Dear DJH360, Thank you for taking the time to submit your review on TripAdvisor, I was disappointed to read your comments surrounding my team here at the hotel, your experience does not reflect that of the huge majority of the other 880 reviews on this site and I would like to look into any shortfalls with service. I would welcome... More
