We stayed just one night, but we enjoyed it fully. We were glad we could check in at 11 PM without problems. The Hotel is small but cosy. The rooms are clean (we particularly enjoyed the mirror light in the bathroom) and charming. The staff...More

It is not really a hotel. More like rooms and a breakfast. Mind you, the breakfast is good. The rooms are tired and have you sweating a bit about whether this is a quiet hotel or whether the doors (and other things) start banging when...More

Hi Mary,
It's best to book a taxi which can be arranged by your receptionist the night before. Typically if you don't book in advance, taxis arrive in less than 5 minutes.
The airport is 15-20 away. Be mindful of rush-hour.

Walking is 25 minutes and you can search online for an easy route by foot on Google Maps.
Another convenient option is to take bus #3 (nearest) or bus number #2 and tell the bus driver you are going the stop before Kelvingrove Museum. Drivers do not issue change, so be sure to have a range from £1.40 - £2.20.
Should you have any further queries, please feel free to call us.

Hello janinius,
Thank you for contacting us. We sent you an email and I hope that any queries were clarified.
We do use a more eco-friendly detergent, but this still may affect your partner's sensitivity. All our rooms are recently renovated, however we do have carpeting in all rooms and public areas except bathrooms.
While, always do our best to accommodate requests, unfortunately due to your partner's specific requirements, our hotel may not be ideal for her.
What I can suggest is for you to contact Visit Scotland with your queries, and they may be able to suggest a hotel which meets all your needs.
We wish you a wonderful stay in Glasgow.
Regards,
Argyll Hotel
