4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Recently modernized hotel was clean with very large room. Staff was notably friendly. Parking was very limited and could be problematic but was an early check in and able to park in small parking space at rear of hotel. Neighborhood is pleasant with good restaurants and good transportation by bus or by taxi. Central Glasgow is not far.

Very cute and charming hotel. Not far from the city center. Next door to Kelingrove Museum and Park. The architecture in Glasgow is fantastic. This hotel is small, quaint and the breakfast food is delish! Staff is very helpful and curteous! Priced right too.

Despite the room was in the basement, (fact that scared me as I though I could find any type of insect) the room was perfectly clean. It was divided in two parts: one with the bed (very cosy) and part with a desk, the wardrobe and the bathroom. There were two windows. In twenty minutes of nice walk you can... More

Booked with children, family room had double bed and 3 singles, large room, nicely decorated and clean. Staff on reception wonderful, very patient with the man in front complaining about the view from his window. Originally booked the guest house as cheaper, but moved to hotel due to booking problem. No extra charge. Breakfast usually choices, self service. Good food.... More

Stayed for two nights for a short weekend break in Glasgow. Would highly recommend the hotel due to its location; slightly out of the cities' main centre, its in the heart of the art & cultural side of Glasgow. It is within a short walk to the main art galleries, museums and university. The general vibe of the west end... More

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or a better location for our first night in Scotland. We stayed here on our way to the western Highlands after flying into Edinburgh on the red eye. Plentiful parking, friendly and helpful staff and a wonderful location from which to explore Glasgow. The hotel sits between two Citi Bus stops... More

I needed an overnight for a business meeting and was a little apprehensive at a cost of £45 for B&B. How wrong I was. What a gem of a place! Old style hotel, clean, good sized room, fresh en suite, all staff very friendly and lovely breakfast. The receptionist suggested I try the Park Inn round the corner rather than... More

Stayed for three nights with 30 family members from Spain, except for the writer, all first time in Scotland. Excellent place to stay, very close to the centre, Glasgow university and most places. Rooms clean and large, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff. No complaints at all.

Service was excellent, we were upgraded from the guesthouse to the hotel on arrival. The staff was always ver hospitable wether at the reception, the breakfastroom or the roomservice. We had a thuroughly enjoyable stay in a neat and clean room. Perfect breakfast every morning. We would stay again when coming to Glasgow and can definitely recommend staying there.
