We spent two nights here visiting Glasgow. The rooms are small but clean and well decorated in Argyll tartan. The breakfast service in the restaurant is excellent with enough food for anyone's tastes. The hotel is close to many pubs and within five minutes walking distance to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum (one of the top sights in Glasgow).... More

Very welcoming and quick check in.and check out. Room good size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely and offered a really good choice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Unable to fault our stay and will stay again when in Glasgow. The hotel is very close to Kelvingrove, other places of interest and the University.

When booking for my friend and I, specifically asked both rooms to be on the level, when we got there we were given 2 room across the road in the guest house not the hotel, our room were in the basement down a very steep set of narrow stairs and explained that there was no way we could get up... This is my second visit (last was approx 2 years ago) to The Argyle. I didn't know it had had a refurb and I was delighted with the results! We had a triple room for 4 nights no breakfast at a cost of £290 (as no doubles available). We moved the bedside table & pushed the singles together to create... More

Tea/coffee/hair dryer/TV/shower etc. No toiletries though, so be sure to take your own Very clean and a great Scottish theme and... More

This hotel is in a good location and we found it came at a nice price point compared to other Glasgow options, especially when you consider that the British Open was on while we were in town. The location is perfect on Sauchiehall street and close to the Kelvingrove museum and lots of great restaurants and pubs. It's about a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was small but adequate for our visit. The bathroom was immaculately clean. The bed's edges were worn and my sleep was somewhat disrupted. The parking a a few spaces behind the hotel and you would need to be be lucky or early to get one. Breakfast was the usual full English but... More

Second visit to this small hotel which is well located near Kelvin Grove and Glasgow University. Buses to city Centre outside the door though we bought a 2 day hop on hop off bus tocket which worked well. Refurbished since last visit a year ago, the hotel is comfortable and staff friendly. Special mention to the irrepressible Patricia and lovely... More

We stayed in this hotel on recent night out in Glasgow. The room was clean and bright. The hotel itself is very handy for going out in the city centre and the West End - you are only minutes from Byres Road and Ashton Lane. Kelvingrove Art Gallery and park is across the road so lovely for a walk. There... More
