This is a nice Hotel but not my taste! It is a terrace of Victorian houses knocked in to one which makes it difficult to find your way about. Definitely not for people with walking difficulties! The rooms are very well furnished but very dark, even with the lights on, and the toilet has a shower unit and a roll... More

stayed at this hotel for friday/saturday nights with half board package.David the concierge together with the rest of the staff were excellant and the food throughout our stay was of a very high standard. The "not so good" refers to the lack of parking facilities (which has been well documented by other contributors) but as a disabled driver I was... More

On your next trip to Glasgow, step back into a beautiful Victorian hotel - full of original features such as superb large stained glass windows, oak staircases, magnificent cornices. Rooms, food and service all exceeded our expectations - only drawback is it is not central. Lots of nice touches - including the complimentary malt whisky by reception (Macallan Gold). Bistro... WE have had very enjoyable lunches previously at the Hotel Du Vin and so we were surprised to be disappointed by the afternoon tea. I had a gift voucher for afternoon tea for 2 people but in this instance a friend said she may join us. As none of us are large eaters and never complete and afternoon tea, we... More

What a fantastic hotel! We arrived on Monday 1st Feb, freezing due to the rain & strong winds, the minute we stepped thru the door everything was so warm & cosy😊. David took our bags, showed us to reception to check in & then showed us to our room, Wolf Blass, he is so friendly, courteous & knowledgeable about the... More

It is really nice to hear how much you enjoyed your recent stay with us, thank you for the review. Wolf Blass is one of my favourite rooms too, I love the corner aspect it has. I'll pass on your comments to the rest of the team and I hope it is not to long before we get the chance... More

This hotel has beautiful, well-appointed rooms, but the level of service provided by a few staff at this hotel bordered on rude. For example, we called reception to inquire about room service, and I was tersely told to talk to the "bistro" (the same number as the one I was calling) and then was hung up on. When we first... Dear Alexander, I'm glad to hear you found the hotel and rooms to be beautiful and well-appointed, our five Victorian Townhouses are quite spectacular. I am, however, very disappointed to hear of the poor level of service you received on a couple of occassions. I appreciate you saying that the majority of staff were pleasant but I understand how these... More

My room was so cozy I had a late checkout as it was rainy outside anyway. I was in Taittenger and I really loved it. Relaxing big bath. My view wasn't great but okay. Friendly staff. Didn't enjoy my fish of the day in the bar, would have preferred the restaurant I think. Kept getting lost in a good way... More

We stayed recently for a Friday night accommodation and dinner deal. What a beautiful hotel, very pleased with the standard of the room and the staff checking us in were lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also to a very high standard. Unfortunately our stay was spoiled by our experience on checking out. We were initially overcharged,... More

Having been to One Devonshire Gardens before for a champagne lunch I knew I was in for a treat and my what a treat it was . I can't praise the chefs enough as the food is dimply delicious . Last time we stayed here was over 5 years ago and we had been waiting for an excuse to return. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and were given a room upgrade.
