Travelers' Choice
Found in an Edwardian building formerly home to the Anchor Line Shipping Company’s headquarters, this gorgeous Glasgow city centre aparthotel draws on the opulence of a 1920s ocean liner. The original façade of nautical emblems, seaweed and shell details on this Art Deco building are not to be missed. With original 1906 features kept intact, you’ll find glazed tiles, terrazzo flooring, timber wall-panelling, stunning fireplaces and even the original safes. Our Glasgow serviced apartments offer fully equipped kitchens, 24-hr reception and two on-site restaurants, both perfect for breakfast or a meal after a long day travelling. In the heart of the city centre, you’re on the doorstep of George Square and couldn’t be better placed to explore the city and the surrounding areas. Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations are within a 5 minute walk. If you’re coming by air it’s a short 20 minute taxi ride, and Buchanan Street subway and bus station are a 5 minute walk from the apartments.

Fantastic location - five minutes’ walk to train station and main shopping areas. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a number of delivery options available for food. Rooms are magnificent, though we did notice a few scuffs on some of the walls. But overall, a stunning apartment.

Fantastic location - stone's throw from the station and quick taxi ride to the airport. You are right in the heart of the city and George Square is a joy. Rooms are stunning and very clean - staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly it's a great team. There are some fantastic places to dine right next door - Anchorline restaurant, Atlantic Bar and Grill, Counting House - just to name a few. All wonderfully accommodating. Fantastic price and beautiful historic building - thoroughly enjoyed my stay thank you. Returning soon.

We had planned this trip before the local lockdown (COVID) but as no travel ban was put in place we decided to go ahead with the stay. The location is fantastic. Close to the train station, several car parks near by, and seconds from Buchanan Street. We arrived early to a warm welcome and accessed our room early. First impressions - it’s spotless! Lovely decor, good quality finishing, plenty kitchen equipment which came in really handy as the restaurants were all closed due to the lockdown. A really cosy room on the 6th floor with a great view. Would definitely stay again.

This is a great find for anyone wanting to stay in the heart of the city. We had a Premium Studio on the 6th floor which was very spacious with great views over the city. Super clean and efficient check in.
