St. Enoch Hostel has an amazing location in Glasgow City Centre, right at the end of Buchanan Street. The dorm was clean but the hostel itself is old. The bunk beds weren't comfortable though. It's more than sufficient for one night.

This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in but it does have some redeeming points. Its very near to the centre and the metro so everything is close at hand. There is free wi fi in the rooms so that was handy. The beds were comfortable, We had clean towels everyday and I take my hat off... More

This was the cheapest double in Glasgow so my husband and I didn't expect much. Easy to find and very central. The double was four bunk beds. It was warm and cosy and the shower worked and towels and coffee were provided. Ok for a short stay if you leave early. Quite noisy as there is a bar next door... More

How do I begin? Room no 1 at the St Enoch is the worst, shabbiest, dirtiest room I have ever seen! And I went on interrail in the 90s and have stayed in hostels in Marroco… On the bright side, it’s very central and the staff at reception were nice enough, and that’s it for bright…on the dark side, uncomfortable... I booked a room for one. The room was god enough for a single person only. I don't suggest it for a group of people or even 2 people. The bathrooms are still good as compared to the room size. The location is good though. Walking distance from the station. The street is really interesting.

The place was dark, not very clean and the smell was bad, but it's close to the city centre and the public transport stations. We also had a discount at the nearest pub, based on the key :) A good place for budget travellers and a short stay.

Booked this hotel for a last minute trip to Glasgow for a party. It was fine as somewhere to sleep but it really is basic. The room was very small and there were marks on the wall - not sure what they were. The bathroom was also small and not very clean with dust and general dirt on things like... More

Stayed here whilst down for a gig. Hotel was very poor I'm afraid. The price was good, but nothing else was. Booked a twin room, but was given a room with 2 bunk beds in them. Beds weren't comfy. Bathroom was small and dirty. One highlight is that you get discount at the pub next door on food and drink.... More

Do not book at this hotel. Booking.com does not accurately reflect real reviews. While the price was cheap, it is not even worth 10 pounds. Dirty, moldy, broken 12"TV, holes in walls, etc. Oh, did I say musty and moldy? When in doubt, Just say no!

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the St Enoch Hotel on 5 August 2016 as were going to a party at a club nearby and did not want to hurry home or be arranging transport. The hotel was very central however the rooms were basic and dirty. We were on top floor with no lifts. Room was small and all... More
