Absolutely do not stay here unless you are looking a dump and the price is £30-40. This is all it is worth. You get what you pay for in accommodation. Just watch out for them selling this hotel for far higher costs on booking.com with discount bringing it down to £80-90. This is still about three times more than it... More

This is a basic, cheap hotel. As such, it excels on all fronts. Our room was £35 odd quid a night and we stayed for 6. The room was replenished daily. About a 15 to 20 minute walk to the centre of Sauchiehall Street where the action is. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. We had our own... More

This truly is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in in my life! Not so much shabby chic more hostel chic! Dirty, unhelpful staff, other "tenants" seemed to be asylum seekers fighting with other or locals suffering from some addictions. Avoid at all costs

I stayed at this hotel to avoid a cramped and unpleasant place I was accommodated in before I found it. Initially, when I arrived the Front of House staff were deeply suspicious and asked me to pay up front in cash. They explained that many guests had done what is commonly termed a 'moonlight flit' without paying their room. I... More

So, here's the thing. I really wanted to like this hotel. It was across the street from the Kelvingrove Hotel which is excellent. Breakfast is great. Cooked to order, and plentiful. Tasty. Service is generally good. The front desk dude was friendly, but seemed pretty busy, especially when I really needed him one night. After staying there for two nights... More

Cheap budget accommodation close to city centre. Its not a 5 star but for £40 what do you expect in central Glasgow? staff were nice to deal with but they requested £25 for late check out at 11am which is ridiculous considering how much an over night cost.

The receptionist was friendly and got us checked in fairly quickly. We were on the third floor as we had booked the last room in the hotel but it was not too bad. The room was quite small but it was cosy for the four of us. They provided towels and the bathroom was clean and stocked with soap. The... More

We had the family room for 5 (there were 6 of us including small children). Clean, tidy and spacious. Staff were excellent. Nice shower. Breakfast was fab. Cheaper than anywhere else. Very, very happy.

Smiths was easy to find and perfect for our needs. Our flight got in after 1am but the desk offers 24 hour check in and were polite and helpful on our arrival. We had a 5 person family room with an attached ensuite and the cost was very affordable for a family- the room had more than enough space and... More

I had to spend two nights in this hotel in June 2016. My company paid a full £486 for two nights for a single room. The service was simply appalling: - No help was offered to get my heavy suitcase to the second floor. - No bath towel - Nowhere to hang clothes or to lay my suitcase in the... More
