A very nice guesthouse in Dennistoun run by Ann and Kenny which are very welcome and helpful hosts. The guesthouse is an old Victorian villa with an elegant and spacious hall and a huge kitchen to serve all guests. Excellent breakfast and very good recommendations what to do and where to eat in Glasgow. We loved this place. At breakfast...

Have just spent two weeks at the Alison Guest House and enjoyed it very much. Ken and Ann are great hosts who do all possible for the comfort of their guests. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and have everything you would need. Ken prepares a great Scots breakfast or you can choose a lighter version. Either way a great...

We hadn't planned on staying here (sent here from a guest house who cancelled our booking). The hosts Ken and Ann are lovely people, who welcome you into their home and nothing is too much trouble! help yourself to a drink in the kitchen. Had a lovely comfortable bed, and slept like a log. Enjoyed breakfast of cereal, toast and...

We stayed 7 nights and were assigned a very comfortable triple ensuite bedroom overlooking the street. Street parking can be a challenge so we appreciated exclusive use of the private driveway for our rental vehicle. You are very close to the Cathedral area attractions and the Tennent’s Brewery and just 15-20 minutes on foot gets you to Buchanan and Argyle...

If you are looking for a low-cost, no-frills B&B close to the city centre, then the Alison is good value. In a quiet area with easy, free on-road parking. Kenny and Ann are friendly and helpful. A good cooked breakfast was served at a single, large table in the dining room where there are also communal tea and coffee making...

Really lovely owners, very helpfull. We stayed with them for 3 nights. Breakfast is served at a communal table in the kitchen with many options, from full Scottish to just some yoghurt. It's a 10 minute walk to the cathedral from where you can take the bus to the centre.

The proprietors could not have been more helpful, welcoming and kind to me over the next few days and my stay with them was most enjoyable. I would...
