It was such a treat to come back and stay at the Rusacks hotel to experience their brand new refurb and it certainly didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was superb. The service on check-in was faultless, I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the lovely blonde girl with glasses who checked us in. We had our dog Jack with us and he was treated like a king. His own doggy bed, bowls for water and food along with some special treats, he loved every minute as much as we did. Ian the night manager couldn't have done enough for us, he is a real asset to the business and clearly loves his job and the company he works for. We stayed in one of the rooms on the newly built wing and it was beautiful, perfect views over the golf course and out onto the beach. The room was stunning, spacious with an opulent, eclectic mix of decor which worked so well. We loved the bathroom and large shower. The only criticism we had was the need for soft close on all the doors and a mirror above the table next to the TV. Apart from that it was perfect. We ate at the Bridge for dinner and the service and food were both very good. Alex was very attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed breakfast also and were moved when we asked for a table by the window without any problems. The breakfast, a full Scottish was very generous and delicious. The service at breakfast was slightly slower but it was much busier. Checkout was also faultless and the all staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. A fabulous stay and a must for anyone visiting St. Andrews. We will definitely be back.…
Hotel amenities fantastic. The food and drink are great and the rooms are excellent. Staff treat you as a friend as well as a guest and always Remember you from previous visits. Special mention to night manager Ian Cameron concierges Val and Davide also to Becca from reception. Thoroughly recommend for a visit
We stayed for the weekend in July 2021 and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was spotless and is just lovely throughout. All staff offered extremely good service at all times, they were very knowledgeable and friendly. David on the front desk went out of his way to offer a very personal service and nothing was too much trouble and recognised us every time he saw us, was lovely to have such a personal service. Thank you. The food and beverage was delicious, both breakfast and dinner with lots of choice on the menus. The room was a decent size with a spectacular view and . Very comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom too. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.
Just spent 2 nights in this beautifully renovated hotel. The place is stunning - I upgraded to a links king room for a view as the regular king room looks into scaffolding ( the hotel is still completing its renovations). The best part of this stay is the amazing staff ... they are so polite, friendly and helpful. We had to make last minute changes for a tee time and the evening manager sorted it all out. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. I would definitely return.
This was the second time we stayed at this beautiful hotel which has spectacular views over the beach and more importantly for me the 18th fairway and green of the famous Old Course. The hotel has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and our room was just stunning. Staff were attentive polite and couldn't do enough to make our stay one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had. Well done and thank you all!! We dined in the Hotel Restaurant and the food was first class, my steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The full Scottish breakfast set us up for the day and was delicious. We will definitely return for another 5 star experience.
