BE SURE to read Bill's info re: finding this facility-the postal code does not work well! Bill was quite talkative but most friendly and helpful. Our bathroom was a bit small, but we had a small sitting room adjacent to the bedroom. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Great access to... More

This was our second visit to St Nicholas. This time I spent a few days on my own as I wanted to recuperate for a few days at the seaside and a couple with other family members. Evelyn looked after us all so well! The room was extremely comfortable and in fact felt more like a small suite with the... More

The booking process was handled smoothly through the St Andrews Bed and Breakfast Association who were very helpful. The communication from Bill at St Nicholas B&B was very quick and helpful. On our arrival we received a very warm welcome and everything was done in a friendly way to get us settled in. The large triple room was absolutely perfect... More

We stayed in a twin room at the St Nicholas Farmhouse for three nights while attending a workshop at the nearby Scottish Oceans Institute (2 mins walk!). Perfect location for us, bonus of having parking space available for our hire car, and for exploring the city in the evening it was only a 15/20 min walk into the town centre.... More

We visited St. Nicholas Farmhouse in late October. It was a wonderful stay. Hosts who were warm and welcoming. The rooms were of a good standard and the little things - like the provision of a small refrigerator were facilities some larger hotels can learn from. Breakfast was freshly cooked to a high standard. I will certainly stay there again... More

Me and my wife came back to St Andrews for our anniversary and ended up staying at this place. It is a cozy nice place out of town but not too far. The walk here is pretty, staff nice, room clean and big, breakfast more than enough... what more would we want for such an OK price?

We had a nice short break at the farmhouse and were made very welcome on both occasions. The b and b is very homely. Ann and Bill are lovely hosts and the cooked Scottish breakfast amazing. Well worth a visit.

We stayed for one night in July at St. Nichoals Farmhouse and everything was good. The room was big and clean, with free WiFi and a good buffet Scottish Breakfast. The B&B is very close to the beach and St. andrews city center. The price is also very competitive.

Had a very pleasant stay at St Nicholas Farmhouse. Most if not all of the complaints made in previous one and two star reviews appear to have been dealt with (sadly the cats are no longer with us). Book with confidence for a great value stay in pricey St Andrews.

Ann and Bill treated as family and loved the discussions over breakfast. Room clean, comfortable and warm. Excellent shower. Located close to beach easy walk into town - Bill even drove us in when We already meeting a cousin in town. Thank you both. Would we come back - yes.
