Lovely hotel staff and room. Bed and breakfast paid for. Very poor fried breakfast. IMO was mostly microwaved. Scrambled eggs left plate full of water, same with mushrooms indicating overcooked. Poached eggs either a machine or microwave again so much moisture made toast inedible.

Always a good lunch in the conservatory, service good, portions good, and great prices and choice. Always made welcome, the gardens are also nice to walk around after eating. Situated in a nice part of Dunfermline with adequate parking.

Very helpful staff and excellent food. Moderate prices. I have stayed there on a few occasions but mainly for lunch. We also have had celebration events there many times, never disappointed. Good location

Stayed here whilst visiting family. Nice room, good breakfast friendly and helpful staff. The public area are all very nice and cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Rooms were a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The price we paid was probably the top end of what it was worth but much more pleasant than staying in a...

Out for a catch-up family meal; received a great meal along with great service. Staff all very pleasant and attentive. Can highly recommend the Sunday lunch menu, being both great value for money with good choices and sized servings. A very relaxing atmosphere.

Either in the main restaurant or Sams Bistro the food and service are excellent in this Family run business. My wife and I had our Golden Wedding celebration and the staff and owners could not have been more helpful

My partner and myself stayed here just before Christmas as part of our "romantic" weekend away. Our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. The staff were very helpful, specifically the lady on reception as she managed to squeeze us in for dinner even though they were very busy. The food was lovely, although I had been recently ill and didn't...

Stayed here to save battling Edinburgh traffic to visit the Christmas market - ideally located, a stones throw from the train station and half hour into Edinburgh. Greeted by very friendly staff, lovely spacious, quiet room. Fantastic food from the bistro. Would stay again.

There was a party of 4 of us booked for the Hogmanay Ball. Food was excellent, service fantastic. There were plenty of attentive staff and the food was delivered quickly and quality was of a very high standard. Plenty of staff to take drink orders too. Band was excellent and catered for all ages and not too loud that we...
