Our annual celebration is over for 2016. The food was very good again and the menu range excellent. The real stars were the staff, they were very attentive and worked hard. It is a very good venue for a club dinner in loverly surroundings with good food and excellent service. We all enjoyed the evening and will return next year.

Stayed for two nights while visiting Edinburgh. Hotel was clean bright and airy with good food and excellent staff. Decent bar area. Good views of the Forth Railway Bridge and Forth Road Bridges while travelling to the hotel. Would recommend and re-visit.

Excellent Hotel, well positioned for Edinburgh & HMY Britannia without breaking the bank, rooms spacious & clean, staff really pleasant, food first class. Overall well worth a visit. more of a traditional style of hotel reflecting the needs of the guest rather than being processed

Very nice garden area - nice to sit in the bistro and have dinner with the view and bright daylight shining in through the large windows. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Décor throughout corridors and room is a bit dated, could do with a bit of a refresh.

We had a really good deal -2nights DBB +1 night BB. so I am reviewing this hotel for the price we paid, which was a lot less than the regular rates. Our twin room was on the 1st floor and overlooked the car parking area, it was a little dark due to the trees, but this didn't worry us as...

We stayed one night (yesterday) with two cocker spaniels. The staff were friendly, helpful and receptionist on Sunday morning very dog friendly. All the staff were attentive. Our steaks in Restaurant47 were cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is our second visit, first time with canine companions, I'm sure we will be back.
