I had another stay in The City Hotel recently and it was just as good as I remembered it. This time I had a car to park and the big, public car park provided a space for me no problem. I wandered in and it was just as I remembered, a lovely old hotel that had charm and character. I... More

Whilst up town decided to pop in for some lunch, hubby had all day breakfast , he is very fussy normally but he thoroughly enjoyed it, I had steak pie and have to say this was the best steak pie I have ever had anywhere, I eat out quite a bit but this was amazing , will be back soon

After arriving with major jet lag, the breakfast at The City Hotel was so great. Its 6.95 pounds all day long. Good food, great service, lovely restaurant. You will be full to continue on to your trek around the city of Dunfermline.

Good central location, bustling night life, maybe not so good if you are just wanting a quiet night. I would consider another stay if I didn't have to drive early next day so would be better to have a two night stay. Staff were very friendly, food was good, drink reasonably priced.Like I said do not go if you want... More

Stayed here 4 times love it. Staff great, room lovely, maybe a little too warm, food in restaurant great. Breakfast yummy and they also do a good packed lunch as we have to get to knock hill before breakfast on one of our days. Can't wait till next year.

We booked into this place for one night only thank god for our British Superbikes weekend at Knockhill. With little or no parking and an entrance from the rear car park that takes you through the restaurant area and a gaggle of at least 15 staff just stood around staring at you as you try to walk through to find... My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful I have come across. The food in the restaurant was good and not expensive. The breakfast was good and the haggis on it excellent . The location could not be better
