Accomodation has a good location if you want to visit Edinburgh but don't want to pay high prices downtown. It has a bus stop with very regular services directly to city centre (Princess Street), staff will help you out if needed. The staff is very kind in general by the way. The room we had was small, but all you... More

The room was pretty cosy and the location is ok (several busses to the city center/Princess street are less than 5min away). Breakfast is decent and plentiful. The staff was nice and uncomplicated. I would recomend this B&B for people who dont want to spent unreasonable amounts of money and dont mind taking a bus or walking ~ 30min to... More

We needed somewhere reasonable at very very short notice and this fitted the bill perfectly. My daughter had just bought a house round the corner, building work was overrunning and myself, husband and grown up son stayed first in a two bedroom apartment then in the guest house. The apartment was spotless; it had everything you could want including TV,... More

The good thing about this place was the price and the location close to the city centre. The service was very friendly and polite, almost making up for all the negatives. My biggest issue is that the central heating was turned off from about midnight until 6AM every night. So you woke up to a room freezing cold - and... More

We stayed in a 4bedroom in the beginning of July, 2015. The access to the guest house is easy since there is a bus stop almost outside the place and buses are running very often, so transportation is not a matter, unless you like late night outs. The room was cosy, comfortable and clean. It was cleaned daily. There was... More

The prices here were very reasonable, the room was nice and warm, and the rooms were clean and well kept. It took some time to find the hotel, due to my own lack of navigation skills, and parking was tricky. The hotel was very kind and accommodating at helping us find a place to park. It's more on the outskirts... More

I stayed here for 2 nights, The first night was absolutely terrible, my friends and I freeze in the room. The heating went off too early, but fortunately the night after was better by the cooperation of the staff. There is a good bus service just out the door, but if you like nights out the only way to come... More

Nice hotel, very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The service is really good with a staff very nice and attentive and always concerned about the comfort of the customers. Nice continental breakfast. A bit far from the city centre (35 min walking), but with a bus stop near the hotel which take around 10 min to get on the city centre for... More

We stayed here for the Wales v Scotland rugby match. Compared to the ridiculous prices charged at other venues this was reasonable. It may not be central but only a short bus ride into town or a 30 minute enjoyable walk through Holyrood Park to the Royal Mile. Duddingston Village is a 20 minute walk away and well worth it... This hotel was a bit out of the city but had really excellent bus service (#44). We were in a double bed room at the top floor and found the room small but comfortable. We appreciated the coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast was adequate, we had to miss it one day and were given buns and apples to... More
